I had a negative experience with Dr. Lightcap. She cut my toe and drew blood when taking a nail sample. Also, I was told that Medicare does not cover podiatry work, so I was charged $75. Later, when I received my Medicare statement, I saw that it did indeed cover my office visit. When I called the doctor's office to inquire about this, I was told that it was a different code and separate charge. None of my other doctor's do this. I will not be going back to her office.

Very thorough, takes plenty of time with patients explaining everything; recommends a variety of options starting with the basics and not just rushing to get you in and out. Answers every question and also asks you a lot of questions to get to the issues of your visit. Relaxed, cordial, friendly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lightcap for over 10 years. She is a very caring and competent physician. Her staff is very friendly and always very accommodating. I highly reccommend Dr. Lightcap. for your foot care.

Extremely professional. She listens to you, discusses with you, informs you, treats you with care and is very compassionate. She also is in-tune with checking your well-being and checks your vital signs and asks questions about how you are feeling in general, not just focused on your feet. I find her very competent, personable and professional. I sincerely recommend Dr. Lightcap. And her staff is very nice, helpful and professional, too.
