Had a calcium score test several months ago scheduled by my dad’s cardiologist (Sunnergren). His ofc had the results two hours after the test but didn’t call me back for two weeks to review the results and schedule an appointment, even after I left several messages on every prompt of the answering machine and his front desk promised me on two different occasions that I would receive a call back by the end of the day. Finally, I took my 86 year old dad to his appointment today. I am his caretaker. He has dementia. They left us in the exam room for 40+ minutes! Sunnergren finally came in, with an attitude because I had opened the door and asked the desk if he was coming. He was immediately rude and very unprofessional to me! He even got in my face aggressively, saying he owned this practice and we could go find another cardiologist. Horrible patient care. Horrible service. Horrible time management. The worst “doctor” I have ever experienced! He is a disgrace to his profession.

I would not recommend him to anyone. I was in the hispital with pains in my chest after almost dieing from covid.He could of cared less what I had to say. Would not listen to me and insulted me with wise remarks for being heavy. He does like like overwright people he made that clear. Not sure why anyone would even go to him?

I have been going to Dr. Sunnergren for 9 years and he is an excellent physician, very caring, knowledgeable, explains diagnosis and treatments fully. 100% confidence in him. He performed procedures on me and I was not nervous or apprehensive because he explained procedures and I thoroughly trust him .
