I had toyed with the idea of a facelift for 10 years but always chickened out for fear of hideous Hollywood disfigurement. ….that stretched telltale ‘joker’ mouth. Dr. Costa was recommended by my much trusted dermatologist and 2 friends who had facelifts by him (I could not tell they had had facelifts but noticed how young they looked). At 73 years old, I finally had a consultation with Dr. Costa and knew immediately he could be trusted to deliver the look I wanted. I had a nose job and a lower face and neck lift. The price was what I expected. The attention I received was nothing but stellar. The anesthesiologist made me feel very well cared for. The nurse was a kind and understanding support system for me. The operating room felt very comfortable. Their safety checks prior to the surgery made me feel safe. I felt like I was their only patient. Staying in their facility overnight, my husband and I had everything I needed to get through the initial post-op. I was never in pain though there was significant discomfort for a couple of days. The pain meds took care of any pain and I only used them for 2 days; after that Tylenol was adequate for comfort. The bruising was far less than I imagined for such an invasive procedure and was practically all gone after one week. I did go to a family event 10 days after surgery and I looked presentable. 3 weeks after surgery I could go anywhere with no one guessing I had facial surgery (with only wisps of hair covering my red ear scars). Three months later, I am VERY pleased by the results. My face looks very natural and considerably younger. My grandmother’s ‘jowls’ are completely gone and my neck is smooth. The scars were placed very strategically in the hairline and are fading nicely. I wish I had had a nose job 40 years ago. No pain at all. The nose change is VERY subtle but as Dr. Costa described it as giving me a more elegant profile. The fact that Dr. Costa only does facial work gives him experience that general plastic surgeons can never achieve. I would heartily recommend Dr. Costa for subtle, predictable, terrific results.

When I decided that I was going to have a lower facelift, I interviewed three plastic surgeons and finally decided upon Dr. Costa. I couldn't be more satisfied. From my first interview with him, I was certain that he was the right doctor for me. He and his staff took the time to answer all my questions and met with me twice before the surgery. However, what sets his practice apart is the sincere caring he and his staff showed before, during and after the surgery. Each day for a week after the surgery, a nurse called to insure that I was doing well and didn't have any unanswered questions...always assuring me that I could call her cell phone with any concern at any time. I can already see that I am going to be thrilled with Dr. Costa's work--my neck profile is already terrific and I can already see the symmetry of the work--and I am only two weeks after surgery--ready to face the world with no bruises! The attention and competency that you get in this office can only be found in a team that only focuses on facial plastic surgery. I don't hesitate to recommend Dr Costa and his staff.

Dr. Costa and his staff are wonderful. He is a talented surgeon who made me feel at ease, and gave me very natural results. I spent nearly a year researching doctors and am so happy I found Costa.

Thoroughly professional and magnificently competent

Had a mini facelift. Not as simple as explained but am very satisfied with the results 3 month out. I would choose Dr. Costa again.

I had my nose and a chin augmentation done by Dr. Costa. The results are amazing. I absolutely love the way I look. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Costa and his staff. They were there to answer all my questions and made me feel at ease during and after the procedure. I would recommend Dr. Costa to anyone wanting to have anothing done.

I couldn't be more pleased with my facelift and forehead lift with Dr. Costa! I decided to have these procedures at 44 because I was beginning to look tired. Everyone said I didn't need it, however, following surgery everyone was like "Wow, you look incredible!" It's still me, just a rested, refreshed me! I had a facelift with Dr. Costa a bit over a year ago, and I've waited until now to review him as it takes a while to be able to look backwards and evaluate. I am thrilled to say that every possible touch pointof my experience with Dr. Costa and his staff have been exemplary. 1. The initial information session was clear, detailed and included possible problem scenarios. 2. The follow-up package was specific, detailed and comprehensive with regard to prep, actual operation, immediate follow up and longer term follow-up and treatment. 3. The nurses and staff were amazingly available 9even over a holiday weekend - thank you, Trish) - both via phone and email. 4. The offer that I remain overnight after the surgery was spot-on: I was so glad I hired an outside 'helper' as a friend would have been in the way and clueless about my situation. 5. I was very specific with Dr. Costa about what I wanted him to take care of (AKA, how I didn't want to take on the facial characteristics of my mom) -- and he listened and did exactly what I requested. 6. Outcome: FANTASTIC. But what I really appreciate was/is the detailed commentary and timeline about what facial parts would like like when (with parameters to include all ages and skins and healing types), how long it would take for facial areas and ears to feel normal, etc. Who, knew? But I just wanted no surprises, and there were none. Thank you, Dr. Costa and amazing staff!!!
