I had my second colonscopy performed by Dr. Deckmann, on June 10, 2022 at the Beebe Outpatient Surgery Center in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Dr. Deckmann makes the patient feel totally at ease during the entire procedure. He is an exceptional medical surgeon whose performs an extraordinary service for the health of his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Deckmann. He is compassionate, and kind and takes time to answer your questions and to explain in detail the procedure, as well as the results. His nursing team is amazing! Beginning with Joe, with the pre-op call to Kat in registration. The pre-op nurses, Krista, Julia and Vicky, to the post op team, Heather, Cynthia, and Holly; and nurse manager Bozman - a truly phenominal team of professionals. Dr. Deckmann is a life save and a gift from God to all his patients!! Thanks Dr. Deckmann!!

I had a screening colonoscopy by him at Beebe Endoscopy Center. I am extremely impressed by the entire experience. The staff was warm, kind and professional. I never felt the stick of the IV, and was completely comfortable and "out" during the mild sedation. Dr. Deckmann is excellent as physician, and also kind and explains everything, answering any questions - and I ask a lot of questions. They were probably remember me.

Dr. Deckmann has been my Gastro Dr. for several years and has always been a patient and caring Dr. He spends time and answers any questions and is concerned about how you feel.

Did no follow up appointment and I had to fight to get the results of my endoscopy mailed to me which didn't even mention my hiatal hernia or reflux. Treated horrible, came into the room, slammed the door and shouted "any questions". In operating room, said open mouth and sprayed something down my throat 2 times, walked away, came back did it again, I almost threw up.

Dr. Deckmann is highly professional, has a great upbeat manner, and takes his time talking with you. The staff is dynamite and very friendly. They take into account all of your needs. The facility is clean and well-laid out. No one wants to have a colonoscopy, but if you have to this is a great place to go.

He was very understand and took his time explaining the procedure and answering my questions. Afterwards he explained post care. He is very laid back and like-able. Takes time with you and does not make you feel rushed.

Dr. Deckmann is a caring, thorough dr. who will make sure you get well. He took very good care of me during a span of a few years when I lived in Delaware. I'm moving back to the shore soon, and he will be my first appointment. Absolutely the best!
