Excellent Dr very thorough and very nice

Very professional staff

As nice as Dr. Spock was, I felt very unprepared. I had my tonsils removed (when I was 28), I met him we talked about options for my situation and we made an appt for surgery. That was all easy. However, I was scared going into the surgery, scared of waking up in a lot of pain. And he told me I’d be uncomfortable. He told me this would probably be “the worst pain of my life” and I replayed that in my head (I have a lot of medical issues) wondering how bad could it be recovering after. They say the older you are the harder it gets. Welp, let’s just say the pain up until day 5 for me was tolerable. Day 5-10 I was in extreme pain. And then it calmed back down. However what I wasn’t told, is that taste would have been gone, it’s been about 5 months and I still haven’t gotten all my taste back yet. My face swelled up insanely. I wasn’t able to eat at all, I thiught I’d have apple sauce for a few days not like 2 weeks. I couldn’t talk at all because of how bad the swelling was. Again I was under the impression that this was going to suck but not for as bad as what happened. The other issue I had was that, when I had my pre appt. My surgery day and and my follow up days. Where all pushed aback time wise(about close to a hour I’d wait to see him). I understand he’s a busy doctor however, I had to move things around to accommodate my schedule to and I didn’t feel like much of a priority. My follow up I got a call right before the appointment to change the day. Which meant putting off certain foods until I was cleared. I was also pretty upset with the fact I told him the medication I was prescribed for after surgery was one that I explained made me extremely sick and nauseated by and he told me there was nothing else he could give me or do. I just wanted a different option that what I was given. So I felt pretty dismissed. Overall I’d say he was a nice guy, he got the job done. But I just felt super unprepared in a lot of ways and like I was just a number who wasn’t taken to seriously. Going forward I hope my taste comes back completely being it’s been 5 months.

Dr Spock patiently answered all my questions and then we discussed options that I have. He was very professional and I would highly recommend him.

If I could give Dr Spock 100 stars I would. He is the one of the best Dr's I've had the pleasure of knowing and being his patient. He not only has incredible bedside manners but he is knowledgeable as well. He is a great human, in my opinion. My quality of life has greatly improved since being in his care. I hope he knows just how great he is. Thank you Dr Spock! Also the staff are all so nice and efficient. They always greet you with a smile. Wonderful staff!

Doctor is very friendly and personable and , just a pleasure to be around.

Dr. Spock took his time, he explained everything in detail. He asked me if I had any questions, he answered them for me. I was very pleased with my visit with him and his staff.

Everyone in this practice are such nice people! Dr. Spock was very detailed in explaing the hearing test results both from the results and the diagram chart on the wall. He also was very gentle with the needle; in fact, I never even felt it. EXCELLENT Physician.

Dr. Spock is the best ENT specialist in Delaware. He's professional, has great customer service skills, gentle during procedures, and very knowledgeable about his craft. This is an overall great place!
