Banyan Treatment Centers - Delaware's Online Review Report Card

If you would've asked me a few days ago I would've recommended this place, but after yesterday, that's a hard no.Talked to intake Tuesday said I was able to come on Friday. Just finished packing and they called to tell me I'm no longer allowed to come because someone arrived 2 days prior who would "not be beneficial to my recovery & a conflict of interest". Well first, if he was there on Tuesday it should've been told to me then, also I would think there would be something that could've been worked out (I guess i wasn't worth the time ), and do you really think turning me away was more beneficial to my recovery?! You are literally dealing with peoples lives here, and have NO idea what people are going thru, what their mental state is, or God forbid they tool a hit that was their last. Or gave up on finding treatment. Which I'm close to because this can be so frustrating. Not even alternative rehabs or detox, nothing. I've previously felt like I was just a number to them when I was there before but I thought the benefits outweighed the cons, but now..... I'm gonna need yall to do better.

The best rehab in the area and paid for by Medicaid.The staff is absolutely amazing and most of them are in recovery themselves and have some incredible stories and the must compassion I've ever seen. They will literally chase you down the street if you try to A.M.A. and let you know you really mean something to them.The rooms are incredible and have huge flat screen Tvs, new furniture, private bathrooms (well in most of the rooms), nice Linens on the beds including 2 pillows. They even have individual lamps on the nightstands so you don't disturb your roomie.Groups are intense and the longer you are the can seem repetitive but just go bc you might hear something different even tho it's the"same" group. There is Yoga, Reiki, Sound Therapy, DJ DAVE who is an actual DJ who turns the dining hall into a mini club during the day for a few hours. There are outside meetings where you get to go out to lunch at a nearby fast-food restaurant, there is an awesome non-denominational church like Journeys on Sundays, Beach like outings, on the property field day like activities like corn hole, kickball, listening to music, etc.The food however needs a huge upgrade... Eggs everyday for breakfast gets old, only one choice at each meal so if you don't like it you better fill up on salad. Sundays the workers don't cook so it's cold sandwiches for dinner. The plus tho is PIZZA NIGHT from Papa John's every week!

Banyan is a beautiful facility. Staff was awesome. My counselor was amazing. A few complaints, but not so bad too mention. If you are suffering from alcoholism and depression not the best place. Focused more on NA issues. Food was so so. But all in all the best facility I have been to.

Inspiring, caring, understanding staff, very clean, offers far more than any rehab covered by medicaid that I've ever seen. Highly recommend.

I was beyond blessed and lucky to have chosen this place as my first ever treatment center. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who may need help. They give you the tools to succeed, it’s on you to use them. An awesome community of people. The love and support from the techs helped me to push through. My counselor, Terri, was amazing. I am really pleased with the experience.

Banyan is a wonderful program I learned so much while I was there the staff are very loving and caring and definitely willing to help you make is successfully in life I would recommend this program to any addict who is sick and suffering thanks for everything ( Milford Delaware)

Services rendered by this facility have been exceptional; no exaggeration! Their approach to recovery reintroduced the value of treating each human being with morality, decency, and worthiness in spite of their mistakes and challenges. They genuinely and strategically equipped My Brother with the tools needed to remind my Brother of his goodness and determination to become better and do better. It seems as if they carefully selected the staff that possessed the necessary attributes required for this line of work (never degraded My Brother). In brief, Banyan actually "Solute" those who jounrney toward recovery in a way that produces results By God's Permission. Yes...... This was my summarized Version.... Soooooooo much more to be said!

At this time I’d like to show some love to counselor Dave for assisting me in my recovery and changing my perspective on life every morning and everyday. When I couldn’t find a reason to keep moving forward he could always help me find joy and something to be grateful for. I would also like to recognize my therapist Ryan, my case manager Matt, the clinical director Frances Marti and the Banyan Treatment tech’s and Center as a whole who assisted me in my rehabilitation.

Paitent is just a number so they can get the insurance...there is no pride taken Upon the administration for all they do is hide in their offices and look for a reason to make it hard for everyone else. Terrible place period.
