Bruce J. Rudin's Online Review Report Card

Rudin is horrible. I'm still disabled from his botched surgery on me 20 years ago when he also released me from Christiana after neck surgery without seeing me post-op. He had to redo my surgery again in 90 days. I'm still suffering.

excellent Dr. and staff can't get anyone better!

In 2001 at age 35, Dr. Rudin told me he could fix me, no problem. How naive I was. He performed an L4-L5 spinal fusion. It was a disaster, the surgery failed miserably. He failed me miserably. During the follow-up appointment Dr. Rudin advised me in a chilling cold tone that there was nothing he could do to help. Nothing. A few years later I had the screws removed (by another surgeon) and one of the screws had not been treated. Hence, bone grew in and around the screw. That was just ONE issue with Dr. Rudins' surgery. His diagnostic ability is poor. It's 21 years later and I've been in debilitating pain ever since the surgery. And I will be in chronic pain for the rest of my life. Career-long gone. Plans for a family-long gone. Life as I knew it-long gone. Everyday is a struggle. And my future? A notable neurosurgeon advised me I will experience continued atrophy in both legs and severe radiculopathy/sciatica. There is no 'cure' and surgery could leave me in worse shape. Pain management is my only option. Please, do not go to Dr. Rudin. Also - if you need back surgery - please go to a neurosurgeon. Do your research and ask MANY questions. By the way, when I awoke from that brutal surgery, my first thought was "What in Gods name did he do to me?" There is much more I could tell you, but I will leave it at this: Do not see this person.

Poor diagnostics. He tells patients (and me) he will fix you. Performed spinal fusion L4-L5. (That was in 2001). I've been in debilitating pain ever since his surgery performance. Atrophy in legs, and never ending nerve pain. When I followed up with Dr. Rudin and told him my pain was worse, he told me - and I quote- "There is nothing I can do." I left his office in tears. I do not recommend Dr. Rudin.

Do not trust this doctor. Had spinal fusion in 2001. He ended my career and my life as I knew it. It's 2022. I've been in severe pain ever since and will be for the rest of my life. I have atrophy in both legs, and severe sciatica. Several of his patients call him the butcher. When I went in for my follow up, I told him my pain was worse. He just looked at me and said - "There is nothing I can do for you." Then he tells me - that he has back pain too. I won't write what he told me he does for his pain. I'd probably get sued. This was in 2001. I will never forget it. He gave me so called tips to deal with the pain. It was unbelievable. I remember waking from surgery and my first thought was "What have I done?" And by the way-he tends to tell patients he can fix them.

I was referred to Dr. Rudin and Dr. OConnor by Dr. Ginsberg for a work injury that occurred back in 2019. I had three herniated disc in my lower back and one of the three was bulging. I tried physical therapy, THREE quarter zone shots over the course of 4 months and still didn’t get relief. Now in March of 2021 after dealing with the pain for about 2 years and wanting to feel better to at least dull down the pain I felt on a day to day basis, I decided to agree to the Regenerative Medicine Procedure. My actual procedure was January 18th. I won’t lie the first week or two was not the greatest (at first I felt like I back to square one). Then after that second week I was slowing starting to feel the difference in how the procedure was helping. It did take some time for the pain to subside from the procedure itself, but once it did my personal pain level that I felt on a daily basis started going down. I started at about a 8-9 out of 10 now I’m at about 2-3 out of 10. I’m only 2 1/2 months out and I feel great! Time and Heat are definitely your best friends after, so take it slow and listen to your body! I’m so grateful I was given this option verses a fusion surgery! If you’re ever offered the chance or it’s recommended to you, I highly suggest you think about it. It’s helped me so much in such little time and I couldn’t be happier. Two years ago I didn’t ever think I’d be able to feel as good as I do today.

I've seen Dr. Rudin for about 6 years. I just had the Regenerative Medicine procedure done. All the doctors are excellent with this practice and the staff has always been extremely friendly!

Outstanding! Doctors & Staff are above and beyond. Plus I am on road to recovery.

Always had his hand on the doorknob ready to leave while talking, I felt that I was in a hard of patients. My surgery was unsuccessful with complications that still affect me 19 years later. He discharged me as his patient right after my surgery.
