I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with Dr. Vergara for the failed D&C with hysteroscopy procedure that I underwent. I was shocked to learn that he was unable to complete the procedure even under anesthesia, due to "severe cervical stenosis." This result was unacceptable, especially given that I have successfully undergone two similar procedures in the past and delivered my child normally. I was never diagnosed with cervical stenosis before and I was not informed about the possibility of this outcome before the procedure. Additionally, there was no medication or preparation prescribed by Dr. Vergara before the procedure. The bleeding and discomfort I experienced after the procedure added to my frustration and anger. Dr. Vergara even suggested that other doctors might face similar difficulties. Afterwards, I sought a second opinion from another gynecologist, who successfully obtained the endometrial tissues from my uterus by getting into my cervix. She explicitly stated that I do not have cervical stenosis and questioned if my prior surgery doctor (Dr. Vergara) is young or inexperienced. Therefore, I was very frustrated and disappointed to undergo such a failed procedure that caused both physical and mental distress under the care of Dr. Vergara.

Christiana Care has the best nurses and doctors. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The admin (billing, scheduling, medication refill) staff are the worst, if you can even get to speak to them. The phone system needs to be thrown away and string with two cans installed. Again, enough good things cannot be said for the professional staff, they are amazing.

I was in the Surgery Center on 1/13/21 had minor procedure done by Dr. Goldstein. I was so happy with the service from the Staff . Everyone was just so Wonderful to me. And Dr. Goldstein came in to see me before the procedure, & explained everything to me which made me very comfortable. I would certainly recommended this facility to anyone who would be needing surgery.

Dr. Vergara and Dr. Rivera (resident) along with the surgicenter team provided an excellent surgery experience for pre and post op. They provided comfort and information to ease the transition into surgery to recovery. I highly recommend this facility for your surgery needs. Facility is clean and staff was thorough from beginning to end.

Friendly and helpful staff! They make surgery and waiting for someone in surgery, comfortably and easygoing! Don’t mind coming here! Large waiting room, restroom, coffee and large seats! What more could you ask for from a Surgicenter!
