Dr Johnson did an awesome job on my knee replacement surgery. He is very friendly as is his staff and would highly recommend him and First State Orthopedics.

I needed a total hip replacement and had complicating factors including a fracture, cancerous lesions and the fact that I do not accept blood transfusions. Dr. Johnson's credentials and experience were beyond impressive, as were his "about me" video and 5 star reviews. I've found in the past, however, that some doctors at that level of surgical excellence can be lacking in the equally important personal aspects of patient care, so I needed to meet him before deciding. My first appointment 100% reassured me. There was no hint of arrogance or impatience. He had already consulted my other doctors, studied my scans and test results and knew my medical history. He explained and showed in detail what would be done and how he would deal with my complicating factors. He answered all my questions patiently and assured me that he and his team, including his excellent surgical assistant, Michelle Smith, would take good care of me. All went well and I'm very happy with the results. I would not hesitate to give Dr. Eric Johnson and his team my highest recommendation to anyone in need of orthopedic care.

Dr. Johnson is an exceptional person. He has helped my husband and me with our hip issues. He has a wonderful bedside manner and wants to make sure that his patients are comfortable.
