List of Jeffrey B. Russell's Reviews
I started treatment here in January 2018. I did several rounds of clomid and IUI which were unsuccessful. When I asked 3 times to try the medication famera, I was told “no it won’t work, you should do ivf”. I have pcos but have nothing that would indicate I would need ivf. I was told “you will most likely never get pregnant with out ivf”. I had only been with the clinic 7 months. I decided to get a second opinion. The new doctor told me according to my charts, this clinic was never trying to get me pregnant Or they really don’t know what they are doing. He said they were triggering immature follicles for IUIs that would never be successful due to the immaturity of the follicle (less than 1CM) I left DIRM In august. I took a month off. By October 2018, The new doctor let me try a round of famera and I got pregnant the FIRST cycle with no iui. My son is now a healthy two year old. This clinic will “give you treatments” (which I put in quotes because they will make sure they are unsuccessful) until you are desperate enough to agree to ivf. They are about money and nothing else. I feel sorry for the women who don’t know any better or ask questions like me and are turned down. You will not have a voice in your treatment plan. It’s taken me two years to write this review because this whole process was so traumatic for me.
Awful experience I only wish I switched doctors sooner. The office is so hard to get a hold of even through patient portal. Many tests were missed or overlooked which could have saved us so much time on this already long journey. Not to mention I actually met Dr Russell in person maybe one time. The staff handling my case blew me off on so many of my suggestions which my new clinic actually listened to and wondered why I was blown off because they were actually valid suggestions. Oh and if you're "just and IUI patient" be prepared to be ignored because you dont make them enough money. So glad I made the switch to RADFERTILITY it was a night and day experience.
After a loss referred nursing staff referred to the baby as it in an email and never even called me with genetic testing results
Great experience and results!
Dr. Russell isn't exactly warm and fuzzy but he works hard to help find your cause of infertility and help get you pregnant. The staff is incredible. They really get to know you. Of course you'll spend 2 to 3 or more times a week there but everyone is kind and always there to walk you through everything and answer questions. The patient portal is amazing you'll always know your result same day.
Thanks to Dr Russel and his team. He is such a wonderful Dr. He knows what is best for his patients. I trusted him completely and went ahead in this journey. You might not see him so often during your visits. He will be there for initial consultation, important Scans, ER and Transfer, which are more important. So his time is best utilized. Thanks for diagnosing things at earlier stage and treating before starting off with IVF directly. (This is the most important factor in his success rates). He knows what is Right for you. His team is the best. Thank you so very much for making this journey completely worth it.
For anyone living in Delaware and considering using Dr. Russell, don't. Take the time and drive the extra hour or two to go to MD or PA for a fertility specialist. Dr. Russell is an egotistical id-iot and could care less of you as a person. You are simply a number and a $ to him and his staff. He doesn't listen to your questions or concerns and treats you like a complete idiot. After my 2nd miscarriage I was asking him various questions about my condition and about miscarriage in general. I remember asking him a serious question and he laughed at me. During my 3rd pregnancy, which ended in a miscarriage, he literally came in, did the ultrasound and tried to find a heartbeat, said "there's nothing there", then walked out of the exam room. My boyfriend and I just looked at each other in confusion. The NP in his practice came in and started to apologize for my loss and that's when I realized I had yet another miscarriage. And when his receptionist at the Milford office called me to discuss the results of some tests she was rude, ignorant and talked down to me. This whole office, with the exception of a few nurses and providers, is a joke. If you are looking for a doctor that you can just follow his directions and not question him then he's your provider. But do yourself a favor and drive out of Delaware for fertility care.
I came to Dr. Russell in August 2018 and received a full consultation and initial tests that same day. He made it clear that I'll be studied to figure out what type of infertility I had and his goal to was to for me to have a baby--and I'm happy to say it worked! My best bet for success was IVF and the first try I'm now 20 weeks pregnant with a boy. The most important thing Dr. Russell and his staff emphasized, along with following the protocols for medicines and injections, was to prepare my eggs through better nutrition, so for 3 months prior to my retrieval I adjusted my diet to eat less carbs and more protein. It's great that an MD cares and understands about nutrition.
Greatful for the help and assistance now expecting our precious little one. Thankful beyond words
I was referred to Dr. Russell and decided to take chance. My husband and I were not disappointed. Dr. Russell and his staff are professional, knowledgeable and supportive. Thanks to Dr. Russell and his staff we are expecting our baby in May. I drove 121 miles to DIRM and would do it again. I highly recommend Dr. Russell and his team, you will not be disappointed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
