I wish I had read the reviews before ever going to this practice!Was advised to have a graft after I lost a tooth. I asked how much and was given a price, which I had to pay prior to the service. Weeks later, I am receiving another bill. Apparently, when the cost was given, I was also supposed to check my insurance. I thought, the price given was the total amount due. No one, when I arranged and then paid, ever told me to check my insurance for any additional amounts. I have an additional bill for $379. Also, I am being pushed into an expensive xray and it's not going to happen. Not happy and will not return to this business. No wonder the ladies in your Middletown office complained about this business. You don't appreciate your customers or your employees.

I had stage 4 Colin and liver cancer in 2003 I believe. Dr. D'amco removed a tumor from my colin and a section of my liver. That was about 18 years ago. They have not found any cancer in my colin since. I would not hesitate to call on him again. He does my colinostpy every three years since than.

Attentive and very caring, very professional. He took great care of my father after being diagnosed with colon cancer. Dr. Damico made sure we understood the possible outcomes and explained in detail our treatment options in plain English. He is unbelievably modest and down-to-earth for someone of his status. I am blessed he is my father's doctor. He is the BEST!

I am writing on behalf of my husband. He has chronic cholorectal spasms and is prescribed medication for them. The bouts are very painful and can be debilitating at times to the point of near fainting. First thing, the doctor NEVER prescribes enough of a dose to help between prescription refills and it is always a struggle to refill due to the offices lack of communication with the pharmacy. Second, every time he calls or the pharmacy calls no one ever has urgency to help or even return a phone call. I am also in the medical profession and will never recommend anyone to the office or recommend employment. This doctor and staff seems to not care, and the 3-star overall rating should be a great indicator. P.S. DO NOT DEAL WITH PATTY!!!!!!!!!

I am very disappointed with this practice. I was wrongly diagnosed years ago and begrudgingly went to see a different doctor. I've had much better but he was somewhat helpful, probably because I was in tears. I have chronic anal pain and an anal doc can't help?! Not sure how you can apologize to a patient for not being able to help them when you didn't even hear the history. Instead I left in pain, no fissure or hemhoroids but I also wasn't scoped. Needless to see we are trying gastro next to see if they can help with anal/rectal pain.

I want to give a big kudos to Patty his nurse, while I was about to jump out of my skin, she was professional and reassuring . Dr D'Amico is wonderful my family has been going to him for years. Excellent on all levels - Best there is. Very laid back and explains things in a way that is easy to understand, but extremely intelligent and knows his work inside and out.
