Thank you Dr Blackwell! My husband had triple bypass in September of 2011. They had a problem during surgery, but Dr Blackwell managed the surgery very well and now 11 years later, my husband is still doing well and on no heart medications. He is a very caring physician, came and explained everything after the surgery to my daughter and I. If you have to have heart surgery, Dr. Blackwell should be your choice of surgeons.

There are no words to accurately express the trust and expertise that Dr. Blackwell personifies when it comes to my experience with him as my cardiac surgeon. I went in as a very sick individual and after 8 hours of surgery and several months later I am Blessed and thankful that I put my life in his hands. I am healing well, moving, living and able to enjoy life and here to patiently enjoy my new grandchild whom I'm expecting anytime now! Dr. Since there are no other words Thank You! If you are a patient with heart problems and you have been told you need surgery... regardless of where or who you are, research Dr. Raymond Blackwell, you deserve his care.

Wonderful bedside manner. Gentle, soft spoken, caring. My husband had a mechanic aortic valve placed 2004. He has had no problemswith the Valve and it's working beautifully. Surgery was supposed to take a couple of hours but ended up taking twice as long due to a excessive calcification in and around the original valve. When Dr. Blackwell completed the surgery, he came out and explained everything he had done.
