Vandana Long's Online Review Report Card

Hands down the best doctor I've ever been too. I'm not sure how she has so many 1 stars, from the moment I walked into her office I felt my anxiety pass. The staff was so warm, so welcoming. And then meeting Dr Long, i was nervous from reading the reviews at how horrible she was. And it couldn't have been further from the truth. I'd recommend her over and over and over. I felt like I was important and not a number or dollar sign. You don't get that anywhere anymore. Highly recommend you make appt and see for yourself.

After seen Dr. Long and she did a few tests, at the end of the test and what she had recommended was not working, she told me she couldn’t not help me, there is nothing else that she can do to help. She was a waste of my time and money. I felt useless and discouraged. I would never recommend her to my friends and or enemies!

Dr. Long is kind and has a pleasant bedside demeanor. She is very smart, open and receptive. I have procedures with her annually and I would trust her with my loved ones.

The doctor was insensitive. She asked why I was crying and said I should be glad I do not have something worse.

Dr. Vandetta Long is very personable and she explained everything to me and "told me like it was." I liked the fact of how easy to understand what I needed to do to help myself. The waiting time was about 15-20 min. and she stayed with me long enough to cover my issues. I love her as a Doctor and have had her for years and want to keep her, that's for sure!

I have been a patient of Dr. Long since 2014 and have always found her to be extremely kind, patient, personable, & always very professional. She always takes the time to explain things thoroughly and answer questions. Her staff is very helpful too.

Needed a Gi Dr . She failed to find issues. Failed to help with the health of individuals. Just blew off patient in need of severe health issue. Patient suffered for over 1.5 yrs. till emergency room visit was needed at another hospital and that’s when they found the issues and resolved them. Went back for a visit voiced our issues was asked to leave and not return.

Dr. Long stopped taking Highmark Delaware (Blue Cross) Insurance. How do you work in Delaware and not accept an insurance offered to state of Delaware workers and University of Delaware employees? Disgusted in our medical system. If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. You should put your patients first.

I would love to give Dr. Long an excellent review. She is very caring and answers all questions i have had. I wasn't treated with the same caring and professional attitude in procedure room, and was cancelled cause the dr who took blood pressure reading at time was listening to nurse on duty who seemed to convince him that i wasn't ready. I felt that it wasn't right thing to do especially since Dr. Long had already known blood pressure readings before. I know Dr. Long isn't fault cause she doesn't obviously know the nurse talked me out of procedure. I hope she doesn't do that to anyone else.

I went to Dr. Long to get an appointment to have a Colonoscopy. It didn’t take a lot of time to get the appointment for the actual procedure. She came highly recommended by my Pastor and his wife. She did my colonoscopy without any pain or complications. I was pleased there wasn’t any high fee due prior to the procedure like at another practice I went to first. It definitely worked out to my advantage being forced to cancel at the other doctor’s office. Greatful I went to Dr. Long.
