I agree. Dr. Cook dismissed my complaints of double vision after several visits less than a year after my cataract surgery. He tried several non-successful glasses prescriptions. I left and finally was diagnosed with inoperable, but non-malignant brain tumors by a John’s Hopkins neurosurgeon. I would not ever recommend Dr. Cook!
I saw Dr Cook today because the prescription he gave me was wrong and instead of making it right and admitting the mistake, he told me to go someplace else. DO NOT use him, it is shameful to treat a patient like that when he's in the wrong. I wasted money to have glasses done and even worse was his treatment of me as his patient. Shame on him.

Had an appointment for surgery after waiting 5 months which was canceled due to the dr getting bit by a dog. Appointment was then scheduled for ANOTHER 2 months out. There was no attempt to make an earlier appointment and when I was upset Maryann Hicks hung up on me. I called another office who can get the surgery done within 1 month! Horrible office etiquette!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
