Dr Mills has treated me for 2 different serious conditions. Both required surgery. I knew I was in good hands right away and both issues were taken care of. I would not hesitate to go him for any other problem that might come up.

Dr. Mills has been exceptional since the day I met him seven years ago. He is the surgeon that saved my life when I suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. He repaired it and then repeated the surgery 6 months later to repair another aneurysm. If it weren't for this man, I wouldn't be here today. Deepest respect for him, his bedside manner AND his fantastic team!

On Jan 7 2019 Dr Mills performed L3/4 lumbar laminectomy. For 2 years I experienced major nerve pain across my buttocks and both legs. At times the pain was unbearable. When I awoke, the pain was gone. Simply gone. Thank you Dr. Mills. You got both mad skills and a quite bedside demeanor all doctors should emulate. You the MAN!

How can a neurosurgeon send a patient to PT for an 8 week period with a clear fracture to C-1. There was no question, as sure as the sun will rise. The fracture was there, but I guess someone would have to read the CT film first. I was sitting right there, he look at C-3 through C-7, the same was done by his PA in the ER. Wife was standing right there. He destroyed my C-1 by sending to PT, disabled. Emergency surgery required, was told I should have died, thanks for manning up.

Nothing against the staff, one nurse really made me feel welcomed. As for Dr. Mills he failed to catch a fractured C-1, even though my complaints involved a loud cracking/popping feeling up under my skull. He didn't listen, nor did he look at the C1/C2 area. The fracture was pronounced and easily seen. No, instead he sent me to PT for 2 months, which I had to eventually quit because of the pain involved. Had another CT scan and wouldn't you know it, I received a call the very next morning telling me to report to the ER for emergency surgery. The emergency surgery was needed because the DENS on C2 was at the base of my brain. Because of Dr Mills, I will never be able to enjoy everyday life. Being told the cervical-cranial fusion would not have been needed if he would have looked at the CT.
