Warning - these people will collect your personal information for sending unconsented and unsolicited spam messages. I haven't visited this office in years and today received a spam text from them promoting some app they want me to install (which gives them access to further data to abuse). Because they use a third party service to spam the app, then it is likely you will receive spam messages from other people because of their irresponsible and unprofessional use of patient personal contact data. Update: DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CELL NUMBER - they will continue to contact you, even if you ask them to stop - see picture.. These people are liars. There is no way to get them to stop spamming your phone.

Zero communication with their patients. Office is closed but they are still listed as open on google as well as sending out multiple reminders for appointments. No courtesy Of patients time.

My wife, family and I have been patients of Tocker & Associates for over 10 years and have always found the care of Dr. Tocker and his staff to be very caring and patient. Their place of business is run smoothly, professionally and is very clean. When calling for non-emergeny issues I usually always get a live person to talk to and if not then I leave a voicemail and either John or Nicole call me back quickly. Both Nicole and John (Front Office) work very well together handling everything from assisting Dr. Tocker with exams, to eyewear to all our insurance questions. I also really appreciate the technology this office deploys as it assists with eyecare scheduling that works around my life. I always receive a reminder via text with any upcoming appointments and just today I received a text requesting I check out their new online app, "EyecareLive". This app allows me to remotely reach Dr. Tocker 24/7 with all of my eyecare issues. I can actually state that I've never been spammed due to any technology in use by this office and they take great care in protecting patient information. I highly recommend them.

Very honest

Although my gmail name is Maureen, my name is Juanita. My husband and I both are very happy that we transferred to Dr. Tocker's office. Him and his entire staff are very thorough , patient, and well knowledgeable of the industry. This is the first time I haven't had any issues with progressive lenses! In addition, I purchased contact lenses for the first time and reduced my stress level! It's such a freedom to not have to wear glasses all the time.

I normally have to call this place 3 or 4 times before they answer the phone. Aside from that, I’ve never had a bad experience. Dr. Tocker is very helpful and professional.

I have been going to Dr. Tocker for several years. He is very personable and professional. I have read and heard the complaints about his staff. I personally haven't had any issues with them over the years. However, I can definitely see the possibility of someone taking an issue at a few staff. I've seen them on both good and bad days. Things can get stressful in that small office. Especially when a client doesn't pay their portion of the bill and they have to argue with them (and/or insurance) to get paid. I've worked in medical for many years before and I know how frustrating it can get. Bottom line? They have never been rude to me. They have always been organized and got all the insurance stuff in order for me too. Now, obviously, I don't know the whole story (from both sides) on the situations. Perhaps people are just being too sensitive? No idea. Anyway, I think Dr. Tocker is pretty awesome and you should at least give him a shot. :)

I have actually never had another eye doctor...been going here since I was a kid. VERY personable and always helpful. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else!!!

I paid out of pocket for something that was covered by my insurance. I told the receptionist that the insurance would pay it and she insisted that it would. It. Fast forward to me receiving a statement from my insurance company that they paid it!! I called the inside company and they said they would contact the office. The person at the insurance company said "the receptionist is a piece of work". I finally got my money back after the receptionist said that she finally got the insurance taken care of. Really?? Because of this I will not go back. Based on this I will not go back.

Receptionist is insensitive...cares more about the insurance and out if pocket expenses than the client. Carried in a 20 minute convo with someone blocking patient registration. There also was no regard for patient confidentiality. Very unprofessional. Lost a client because of it.
