Dr. Derby corrected our daughter's AV canal when she was 5 months old. He thoroughly explained everything regarding her defect, as well as what he planned to do surgically. After the surgery, he spent a generous amount of time talking with us about the repair and what to expect. Our daughter is now thriving at 5 years old! Great bedside manner and very concerned about all family involved with patient.

Dr. Derby preformed 3 separate surgeries on my newborn daughter, Angelina, 10 years ago. Without you Dr. Derby.....my daughter might not be with us today. We just came from her latest cardiology appt, and were told that her heart and mitral valve are doing GREAT! Thank you Dr. Derby.....we are FOREVER. greatful and in your debt.
