Dr Mitchell is an incredible specialist who puts his patients first. After being properly diagnosed thru his testing process. He provides you and your family member what your diagnoses is and what can be done. His medical group, Brandywine urology is extremely professional. Both locations for testing procedures, appointments. I can't thank them and Dr Mitchell enough. Knowing what you have going on after not knowing for years is is a miracle.

Dr Mitchell performed the robotic prostate removal surgery on me in March 2019. He is very professional and direct. He made me feel comfortable with his confidence and knowledge. He communicates clearly and is very personable and patient. He answered all of our questions and concerns. Prior to surgery he clearly explained everything in detail including the expectations. Danielle is excellent and together they make a great team. I highly recommend Dr Mitchell.

My husband had been seeing a urologist in Dover for over 10 years, and all he did was give him pills, and send him for all kinds of test, and never could resolve his issue all he did was constantly recommend him to go to other specialist because apparently he had no clue what to do so my husband told him he wasn't going to take another pill ,because it wasn't solving the problem, and that Dr. Said well if your not going to follow my instructions I'll have to release you as my patient, and when I tell you I'm glad he did. One evening I had to rush my husband to the ER and I said we are going to Christiana hospital, and my goodness this is where it all changed for the better. Called to make an appt for my husband and was greeted with a nasty attitude by the lady who answered the telephone. I saw he had 5 stars and wanted to become a patient, however after my interaction with her I will find another Dr. very sad.

Dr. Mitchell is a class act. He is professional and able to articulate information to the patient in a manner that is not intimidating but easily understood. He generates confidence and exhibits calmness which eased my concern for the surgery I was about to undergo. I had a consultation with Dr. Mitchell being referred by another doctor because of Dr. Mitchell's knowledge of the robotic surgery to attempt to save my kidney. My daughter and I were impressed with the time he took to explain the surgery, answer our questions in detail.

Dr. Mitchell is a great surgeon & doctor. I was fortunate to have him perform surgery on me and it was successful. Beyond his excellent skills as a surgeon his communication with me as a patient is above & beyond what one normally expects from a treating physician. I had several technical questions about my medical condition & Dr. Mitchell answered them all promptly and in a manner that was very easy to understand. Dr.Mitchell is a true professional & is a credit to the field of medicine.

My urologist recommended me to Dr. Mitchell for treatment of bladder outflow obstruction due to BPH. Dr. Mitchell recommended a procedure called HoLEP, a laser procedure to remove prostate tissue and restore normal flow. Dr. Mitchell performed the procedure in April of 2017 and the result has changed my life. I no longer wake up any number of times to empty my bladder. My quality of life is greatly improved and I haven't slept this well in years.

I would highly recommend Dr.. Mitchell to anyone with prostate cancer concerns. He was extremely knowledgeable and responsive from start to finish and his bedside manner was very comforting. His staff is caring and responsive as well. I always felt like I was his top priority and he made himself available 24/7 for any assistance I required.

When my husband needed testicular and then prostate surgery, Dr. Mitchell was not only skilled and smart about how to proceed; he was compassionate, clear, helpful and even a bit humorous. He was the perfect answer to a medical situation made tricky due to my husband's Parkinson's, and his judgment proved to be spot-on.
