Been going here for over thirty-five years., wouldn't go anywhere else. The name has changed over the years, but not the quality of care .
Upon arriving the receptionist wearing a headset pretended like she was on the phone because she couldn’t be bothered — she ignored myself and another elderly patient. We both waited a little over ten minutes without being acknowledged or welcomed until someone else finally came from behind to check us in for our appointments—she was a young Latina lady who was very sweet, polite and nurturing. I’d like to thank her for being a beacon of light on such a dark day. I was suppose to have Basel Cell skin cancer removed from my arm today by Dr. Michael Saruk. However, Dr. Saruk appeared elderly, he moved rather slow and his eye sight also wasn’t the best. He walked into my room and greeted me as “Sir” — however, I’m quite obviously a female. I quietly stood up and left the office without having a “much needed” skin cancer removal today. I’m disappointed (not angry) just very disappointed. A simple “hello” from Dr. Saruk would have been sufficient. After reading some of the other reviews on here I feel validated that I might have dodged a bullet today. I hope other patients have a better experience w/ Dr. Saruk than I did. I was already feeling uneasy because being diagnosed with skin cancer is scary and life-altering. How can I trust a man to remove skin cancer from my arm if he can’t tell the difference between a man or a woman? In the end, I don’t feel so bad now that he referred to me as ‘Sir” After all, I’d rather be mistakenly referred to as a man… rather than to be taken for an imbecile. Fortunately, I wasn’t raised to be a fool…which is why I got the heck out of Dr. Saruk’s office. As I exited the office, I explained to the receptionist why I was leaving and she gasped out loud. Her gasp validated my insecurities, so I appreciate the confirmation. There’s an old trope.. “one person's junk is another person’s treasure.” With that in mind, I encourage other’s to give Dr. Saruk a chance. My personal experience is simply that — “mine.” I certainly don’t want to be perceived as a vindictive person because I am not. However, I also encourage others to listen to your inner voice. If something doesn’t feel right… then sort out other options. Overall, Dr. Saruk’s office was clean and orderly. The location was also convenient and safe. The Uber driver dropped me off on Concord Pike (which I don’t recommend) so I had quite a hike over to Silverside Road — but no biggie. Again, I remain hopeful that other patients will have a pleasant experience w/ Dr. Saruk. Please do not utilize my review as a compass. I’ve more or less authored this review so that his office has better insight as to why I exited with the hopes that they can better serve others moving forward. All my best, Victoria (not Sir)
Dr. Saruk gave me a very cursory, inattentive annual skin check and with it, a clean bill of health. I wasn't satisfied with his examination and booked an appointment with a different dermatologist a month later. She took three biopsies, two (on my face) of which came back as cancerous. So glad that I trusted my instincts and got a second opinion.
After sitting on hold for 32 minutes a very rushed and unpleasant women picked up . She must have been working from home I heard kids screaming in the background. I asked to make an appointment, she told me to go on the website and hung up on me .
Waited over an hour for a morning appointment and was then screened by an NP. A few days later I discovered that the office that had taken my driver’s license and insurance cards to copy had not returned them to me and I was in Florida by then. When I called the office (calls are now directed to New York City!)they said they didn’t have them but a week later said they did and would mail them to me. Two weeks later I still didn’t have them. When I called again they finally put them in the mail with no apologies. This practice has gone downhill since it joined a New York group. I will not be returning after years of using it.
Very rude management and inexperienced staff. I work with refugees to help them with their medical needs. After supplying all insurance information they set up an appointment and said it would be covered.. now an elderly Ukrainian man is stuck at their office for hours before I can arrange a ride home because of their mistake. When I called and asked if they could help get the person home since they caused all the issues they yelled at me?!? Then they yelled at the translator I also sent there saying it was ridiculous to ask for anything... I can't speak to their service, but I will be sharing my experience with social services and anyone with a heart that doesn't treat others with disrespect while I'm sure charging fees if you cancel on them.. shameful racists...
This place scammed me out of $250. I was seen on 10/17/2023 and no one called me with a follow up. I've been reaching them everyday since my appointment and was always put on hold. I called again on 10/24/2023, they mentioned processing my refund. I was on hold for 45 minutes. Then called back and a lady named Julia answered. Then put me on hold again and the line disconnected. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY SO I CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Staff is always very pleasant, knowledgeable, and Dr. Saruk is wonderful. I trust his expert advise on and and all skin issues.
Wether it be an early appointment or afternoon the staff is always happy and there to help the patient
Dr. Sakur and his medical assistancts are, professional courteous, welcoming 🙏.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
