List of Pramod K Yadhati's Reviews
I am very pleased and thankful for the services provided by Dr. Yadhati. I was in constant pain from CRPS post-surgery for a broken wrist, but after 3 nerve blocks I am well on the road to recovery and making progress in PT. I never had to wait long for my appointments and his staff were always courteous and professional.
I had the opposite experience with Dr. Yadhati. He was warm and friendly. I had heard that he did not have a bedside manner but, I beg to differ. Now, his office staff on the other hand is why I am only giving two stars. They are unprofessional and lazy. They do not follow up with patients and then lie about what their responsibility is or was
Extremely unprofessional service by Pramod Yadhati. I would avoid going to Pramod and heard the same review from many others.

Dr. Yadhati and his staff work to take care of me. While the doctor was on vacation I needed a refill of a narcotic. I follow the doctor's policies of not going to another doctor to get meds. The office staff started working on solutions with me, and then they also got ahold of the doctor who approved a way to prescribe the medicine I needed. I really felt that they listened to me, worked with me quickly.
While the doctor was on vacation, I needed a refill of a narcotic pain med. I follow the policies of the office by not going to other doctor's for pain meds, so I called their office. Because he was on vacation, they had options to provide to work with me. While waiting to get a call back I learned they somehow got ahold of the doctor, who approved to for me to go to another doc to get the refill I needed. The care the doctor and office provided was great. They listened and took care of me.
Dr. Yadhati takes the time to actively engage me in my care and takes the time to ask questions and pinpoint the issue. He is careful about prescribing meds, and doesn't just hand out pills. Being at a pain management doctor, that is a long term experience and not just a one time thing. Being careful about prescriptions is important with opiods and Dr. Yadhati, while careful, looks to help manage pain, but also looks to overall health and well being, while looking for the real cause. Just taking pills is not the way to improve quality of life. Being a patient of his is long term, not just once in a great while when I am sick like my primary doc. The more engaged in my care, and the open I am about my condition, what is going on and where I am the better my treatment has been. He challenges me to take an active role, working out therapies to manage the pain, beyond just a pill. I'll admit, it is easier to take a pill, but that only covers the pain, and I would rather improve my quality of life if I can rather than be on pain meds the rest of my life. He is direct and evaluates my overall health, keeping a pulse on how I am doing. He works with me because this is long term, and the meds and treatment impact my health now and in the future. The staff is very kind. Even after a surgery they remember and ask how I am doing when I am there, or calling in.
Dr. Yadhati takes the time not just to listen but works with me to be actively engaged in my health. Some may claim he doesn't provide enough meds or listens but that has not been my experience. He is careful about prescribing meds. Being at a pain management doctor, that is a long term experience and not just a one time thing. The doc is careful because it is long term and can affect one's health. He works to treat my condition and not just the pain. There was a point when I just wanted pain meds and kept calling for refills but didn't want to go see him regularly. He declined a refill and said I needed to come in. When I asked for more meds he said he wanted to ensure I was getting the right treatment and that my health was ok, that was why I needed to maintain my regular appointments. Just taking pills is not the way to improve quality of life. I found that the more I was engaged in conversation and working with him the more I saw it was about quality of life. Being a patient of his is long term, not just once in a great while when I am sick like my primary doc. Yadhati wants to manage your pain (not just treat it) but more so treat your condition as best he can. The more engaged in my care, and the open I am about my condition, what is going on and where I am the better my treatment has been. He has encouraged me to be involved, not to just as for a refill and make an appt in a month. When I need to be challenged he does, and when I need help to manage my pain he listens and works with me, and doesn't just throw meds at me. He works with me because this is long term, and the meds and treatment impact my health now and in the future. The staff is very kind. After being referred to a surgeon for having a recent surgery I had to call and reschedule
The doctor is very involved in my well being. He is not one to just push pills but rather wants me to be actively engaged in getter better and works to treat my condition. While people may think he doesn't give enough meds, he is careful and listens in order to find the issue rather than just treat a symptom. He is careful to be sure the meds he prescribes is safe for my health for the long term and focuses on how to get a better quality of life rather than just to feel less pain with a pill.
I am very upset with this doctor. I was referred to him by my orthopedic surgeon. I have a genetic bone disorder that causes the bones in my left foot to weaken and break. I've also had several tumors removed out of my foot. The purpose of me going there was to find ways for me to deal with the fact that everytime I take a step I have horrible pain. He comes in, sits down, asks a few questions and then talks about you into his recorder right about you while you're still sitting there. He put me on an anti seizure medicine which made me very ill. When I went back to him and told him I didn't want to take that medicine anymore he decided that I should up my dosage from 3 pills a day to 4 pills a day. I asked him if I could have something for pain and he gave me a speech about being a "seeker" Seriously, worst doctor I've ever been too. I've taken ten pills for pain in the last year, I've barely been off my couch in a month and he treats me like I'm some kind of junkie.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
