A little over a year ago I could barely walk. My left knee was shot and I needed a replacement. I found Dr. Van de Leur at The Orthopaedic Institute in Summerfield, Fl., and he scheduled surgery for my knee replacement. The healing period was shorter than I had anticipated, and now, a year later, I realize I have a achieved a level of mobility I never expected to see again. My thanks to Dr. Van de Leur and the great staff at The Orthopaedic Institute in Summerfield.

Everyone there was very professional from the check in to the doctor. Dr. McFadden explained in detail to me what was going to be done with my shoulder repair. He made sure I didn't go into the surgery blind. The nurses that took the blood and went over some of the things to do before the surgery were very professional. I recommend The Orthopedic Institute to ANYONE who is considering surgery. I will follow up when my surgery is done and let you know how great they were.😎😎

Everything, the doctors are excellent. I have had both knees replaced and everything from the facility, office visits, surgery,and hospital stay.was great. the physical therapist work really hard to get your knee function back to normal. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is considering knee replacement.

Went in for a knee injury. Dr. Canalas was great, but this place failed me. I was told I need an MRI. I have been waiting DAYS and still haven't heard back. I called and was transferred to the MRI department. The answering machine picked up, I left a message and they still haven't called back. Very unprofessional staff here. The staff are very attentive to the clients. And if you have any issues after a surgery, you can get an appointment and address the issue without waiting long.
