Abraham Woods's Online Review Report Card

Twice I've scheduled an appointment as a new patient, and twice they've reached out to reschedule me because Dr Woods won't be in the office that day. The first one got pushed out a week, the second they're trying to push you a month. Why even make an appointment in the first place?

I didn’t want to do this but I have to warn others, please find another doctor. If you can even get someone to answer at the office which is a mission in itself. I went due to having basically a benign tumor in my urethra & have been getting UTI’s all my life but more progressively for the past year, every month. obviously very uncomfortable & frustrating situation for both my husband & I so I just wanted answers & to take action im so done suffering every month. (Spoiler alert I STILL AM IF NOT MORE NOW) we had a plan & I agreed to the surgery.. after I had surgery there was NO follow up appointment which I thought was odd, you’d think the doctor that operated on you no matter how severe, surgery is surgery & I would want someone to check on that. No one ever did. I tried to call to set up an appointment but it was going to be months out which made no sense, I still scheduled it.. Just to have them call me to cancel. I feel like I have gotten the run around. My problems haven’t gone away, they have only increased & gotten worse. I’ve gone to the hospital a few times since my surgery & the pain is greater than before my surgery. I’m in the works of finding a new specialist, in the mean time I am back in hospitals seeking more answers to more questions now than when I started. I urge everyone to avoid this one, save yourself & find someone who cares enough to see you after surgery!

Look elsewhere. I tried to get an appointment and received absolutely no outreach from the office. Regardless of when you call their phone goes to voicemail that they do not check. Hurricane Nicole will be in the area tomorrow and I’m supposed to have a consultation at noon (made before the hurricane was coming to our area). I know my appointment is “confirmed” so far tomorrow because I drove to the office to speak to someone. I’ve not heard back and won’t be back. Dr. Woods may be phenomenal but you’d never know that after dealing with his “front office.”

Doesn't matter when you call, you are sent to an answering machine. They do not call back. There is a text message sent apologizing for missing your call and to respond with any questions, they also do not respond to the texts. I have no idea how this office gets patients since you can't get in touch with them to make an appointment.

Cannot and would not recommend. Physically impossible to get in contact with the office. I’ve tried multiple times over the last several weeks to call and regardless of when or what time you call, you get sent to their answering service. I have not received a single call back. I’ve also sent an email and have not heard back. I’m attempting to pay my bill which you’d think they would be motivated to respond to but I guess not. Cannot imagine how I would feel if this was an actual medical issue (as opposed to billing) and I was unable to contact my doctor over the course of several weeks.

Due to your laziness and inability to perform a simple procedure like a stent, our daughter after 4 days spent in pain at Advent Health Hospital in Altamonte Springs, then discharged this morning now is back at the ER and back to be admitted for a stent you should have done, in order to avoid the kidney blockage which can lead to kidney failure or even death. She is 23 year old and YOU SHOULD REALLY STAY AWAY FROM ANYONE, OBVIOUSLY YOUR MEDICAL OATH MEANS NOTHING TO YOU. SHAME ON YOU. Respectfully Al

I must corroborate all the negatives reviews on here. This is such a slow unprofessional medical practice. I would never go back there or recommend this urologist to anyone.

Dr. Woods is a caring physician who spends time to address any questions his patients may have. I highly recommend Dr. Woods urology practice.
