Completely Incompetent doctor and unprofessional practice... caused me months of pain snd suffering after a procedure. Had no knowledge of how to treat my complex Gi condition . Please run for the hills...

Dr. Sprung has exceptional bedside manner, is highly communicative, is skilled beyond measure, and has wonderfully helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. I could not have asked for better care from start through finish. Thank you Dr. Sprung and team!

WORST experience Ive ever had with a GI. for my moderate EOE. Post- op has been a 3 month, ongoing nightmare. Zero communication from Dr. Sprung throughout, despite 3 phone calls to the office. Very unprofessional , archaic, unwelcoming practice and outdated approach. In my opinion, this doctor was incompetent with my G.I. issues, the procedure, instrument used and lack of follow up and necessary medications to alleviate new persistent symptoms.( gastritis, spasms) When I finally reached out AGAIN 7 weeks post procedure to politely ask pertinent questions, the woman on the phone ( same last name as Dr Sprung) was rude, defensive, appeared angry, and she only sent the same report I had been given initially with her own hand scribbles on the top. She never sent all of the requested information regarding the measurements of my esophagus--And she called my initial review " inflammatory," yet the only thing inflammatory is what Dr Sprung managed to do to my esophagus- its been inflamed beyond belief. For months! ( I have not been the same since the procedure.) What Dr. Sprung claims to have done during my procedure is not consistent with what subsequent doctors saw. ( I was measuring a 12 a few weeks after the procedure with Dr Sprung. and they "claim" I was stretched to a 16. ( But 3 weeks later I was at a 12.) Tons of inflammation and gastritis which I had never experienced before, post op. Measurements were not even indicated on the report and the photos were of poor quality and other GIs noted the angles being poor as well. Also, Dr Sprung was unfamiliar with Dupixent- its the latest treatment for Eosinophilic Esophagitis and he brushed it off. Every doctor in the field has talked about it to me except Dr. Sprung. Currently, Ive been through multiple dilations, as well as motility tests and taking new medications to alleviate the sudden onset of gastritis , as a result of the procedure mid January . Incidentally, Dr Sprung used a maloney dilator which is not preferred by leading experts for EOE. ( the term actually used by another GI, is it is "barbaric." ) The balloon dilator is what should have been used, as you can see through it. Then, in the aftermath, Dr Sprung did nothing to help me. I was far worse after the procedure. I could eat solid foods prior ( there was an occasional difficulty) but now I'm still struggling on a soft diet. I hadn't had a sandwich or a real meal in almost 2 months and was on a pureed diet 2 of those months . I ve lost 15 pounds on my already small frame. Despite my phone calls, multiple ER visits and hospital stay, Dr Sprung did nothing. They just covered themselves. His kind front desk staff only screened calls. Even my best friend called while I was in the hospital mid February for 3 days and there were no return phone calls. I was forced to find a new team, and so thankful I did. Never in my 30 years of receiving quality medical care for my eosinophilic esophagitis have I had such a poor experience and outcome resulting in numerous ER visits, 2 hospital stays and a variation of persistent new symptoms. My medical bills are astronomical and the practice did not properly address the matter. Mrs. Denise Sprung finally sent the requested paperwork with her hand scribbles and told me I was "discharged." By the way, I was recently diagnosed with a motility disorder ( IEM) and this was never even discussed in my initial visits or post op. 😧 If you have a complex GI issue, ( ie EOE) please , please go elsewhere. Run!!! This experience has been a nightmare for my family and me.

The medical professionals along with Dr. Douglas J Sprung at CFAGI Surgical Center were prompted and professional I checked in at 8am and checked out by 10am as they promised. Everyone there was friendly. Very professional and well organized. It's was more than how I expect.

Due to my GI issues an endoscopy was ordered and one of the receptionist told me my portion would only be $220.00 well.. few weeks after the procedure I received another bill from Dr. Sprung and I requested to make payments on it. Mind you my GI issues were still not resolved and the doctor refused to see me until I paid my balance in full (even tho I had never missed a payment) Fast Forward after I was able to make all of my payments I had a tele visit with the doctor and I explained that I had not been able to do to the payment plan to which he replied "oh yes we need to rob a bank then" anyways ... he prescribed some pills to help with my issues but instead it made it worse ! I've had pelvic pain and went to my gyn to spend thousands of dollars only to find out it was due to the side effects of the pill this doctor gave me. Long story short I do not recommend him, he doesnt care for the well being of his patients and the staff is not very friendly either.

Professional staff who really care about their patients! This was my third time using Dr Sprung at this facility. All three times were a positive experience.

Dr. Sprung is caring, compassionate, accessible and most important, an exceptional practitioner. I have been his patient for many, many years and rely on his judgment and skill with confidence.

Highly qualified personnel with excellent interpersonal skills as well. I was made to feel comfortable and everyone obviously knew exactly what they were doing and did it well highly recommend Dr. Sprong and his staff as well as the surgical center.

The services that I receive from Dr Sprung is excellent. Dr. Sprung and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed before and after the procedure. I would have no qualms in recommending them to friends.
