Fawaz Makki's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Makki literally saved my life! I had a tonsillectomy in late February at Palm Bay Hospital. I was told to go back on my blood thinners right away which was a bad idea and a week later I started bleeding heavily and uncontrollably. I was taken by ambulance to Holmes Regional where the doctor on call (who was very brutal, extremely unprofessional and impatient) operated to stop the bleeding. Several hours later at home, I was bleeding 10 times worse and called my sister and asked her to take me to Orlando before I bled to death. Dr Makki was on call and rushed me into surgery at 4 AM. I woke up two days later in the ICU at Advent Hospital intubated but alive! The surgery was very successful and I consider Dr Makki my personal guardian angel! I should have posted this review months ago. I am eternally grateful to this man and his staff for taking such great care of me!

Dr Makki was my final opinion,& he was very accurate. I had my surgery on august 2,2023, it was a successful surgery. I thought I was going to be in a lot of pain,& I wasn’t. Dr Makki is finessed surgeon that when you wake up from surgery your not in pain,& even after the surgery you don’t feel pain. I’m so blessed to meet dr Makki. The last words he told me before my surgery were..”I’m going to treat you as if you were my brother” those words made me feel comfortable. Thank you Dr Makki

I had a great experience with my surgery. Dr. Makki has very light hands, a cool demeanor and robust empathy.

I had to change ENT's in the middle of my treatment. I was worried about the continuity of my care. My fears were immediately put to rest. One my visit, Dr. Makki went over all my previous care and really took the time to get to know me. I felt very much at ease with him and his staff. Dr. Makki and his staff are thorough & compassionate. They take the time to make sure you are properly treated and understand your treatment. As previously stated, everyone in the office is friendly and Dr. Makki has a great beside manner. Best of all....the office is well run and they stick to the scheduled appointment. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Makki.

I cannot believe that Dr. Makki does not yet have a review here. He saw my sister for tongue cancer and Leukoplakia (I was there to translate her Spanish for him) and he is an Angel sent from above! His education and level of experience speak for themselves, but we have to say that adding his bed-side manner and his aura-like humanitarian demeanor make him one of the best doctors we have EVER dealt with!

He saved my life, what more could I ask for. Wonderful!

Dr. Makki is a proactive and aggressive oncologist.knowledgeable on his field of expertise and have excellent bedside manners, he is friendly and compassionate. I am a retired Healthcare worker and highly recommend him.

He was wonderful. Took time with me and made sure I knew what was happening. Very friendly, very patient. You left knowing he cared about you. He talks on your level and makes sure you understand. Surgery is upcoming and I may have more thoughts to leave here. I do recommend him so far.
