List of Janet Belton's Reviews
26 yrs ago she accused me of shaking baby syndrome cps looked into it he actually was born wt water on the brain and 7 yrs later he had a very rare metabolic disorder called CPS 1 if she had sent us to a genectic doctor my son would not have permanent brain damage iQ. 37 she was young and just eager to say i abused my child but i had a 6 yrs healthy tall happy she never so much as said im sorry. For almost 6 yrs i was afraid to question a doctor. Dr belton i questioned i got CPS called on me. My son is happy healthy now after liver transplant.
I scheduled an appointment for my granddaughter who has been ill for three weeks and appearing to have an extremely slow recovery. I called to make an an appointment and was told there was two times available, 9 and 10:45. I had them on a speaker phone so I have witnesses to the time set. I selected 10:45 and rearranged my whole schedule to take my granddaughter there. I was told she was suppose to be there at 9:15 and they could not take her until Wednesday with Dr. Belton (who was handling Evana since she was a baby). I told the office clerk that we set the appointment for 10:45 and was rudely told that she has to go to Altamonte. Two weeks ago, I took her to the Altamonte office and the one med she was prescribed did not work. They rudely told me that they cannot even set an appointment for Wednesday unless I call. Poor office management.
Dr. Belton is simply the best! Been taking my children to her for many years and I trust her 100% with all of their medical needs. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, patient and gentle. Dr. Belton was born to be a pediatrician! Outstanding!!
Horrible group of doctors they can care less about kids or infants
Misdiagnosis would be the best word to use. This doctor will pretty much diagnose whatever's going to make the parent happy at the moment. There ADHD department is worse, once again feed them the drugs, misdiagnosed again.
Avoid this doctor and this practice. There are so many better options.
This doctor is absolutely horrible, she does not listen to parents concerns. I will never take my kids back to Altamonte Pediatrics, just so they never see her again. What a disappointment of Doctor.
The staff at the Altamonte office is horrible. They are rude and mean. The last time the girl slammed her window shut and trend and started talking trash about me right in front of me!! About how the insurance isn't HER responsibility or her problem. I am very disgusted with the staff here and I will never bring my child here again.
Dr. Belton has been our pediatrician for over 10 years. She sees each of our 4 girls. She found the collar bone brake when an emergency Doctor didn't take the time to, she took the time to research and treat a rare fungal infection, and she treats each with respect. I love that she asks my girls questions and involves them in their treatment. She has always been very supportive towards me and medical decisions I make for my children. When her office no longer accepted our insurance, I remained with her paying cash. I am beyond grateful and happy that I found her.
I HAVE TRUSTED DR BELTON FOR 9.5 YEARS, AND HAVE ALWAYS FELT SAFE IN HER CARE. :)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
