Jorge Lense's Online Review Report Card

I was referred to dr. Lense for a partial hysterectomy. My initial appointment was moved twice, my surgery was rescheduled twice, and my 1 week post op was canceled. 3 days after both laparoscopic and abdominal incisions I had run out of pain meds. Docs can only prescribe 3 days at a time. That’s fine. Florida law. When I call the doc to make an appointment for some help I was first told the surgeon does not do follow up appointments. I had my follow up appointment scheduled for months. The office manager Amy then let me know the doctor left town. He would be back in a month. If I needed more pain meds I had to go to the er. I had questions about my bloody bandages. I was told to go to the er. I thought I might have a bladder infection. Er. The emergency room costs me about 5k. Not an option. I was told there was no one the doctor could refer me to and no one would see me post op. It was horrible. Negligent. I couldn’t move and cried in bed for two days, shaking with pain. Almost 3 weeks later I still tear up thinking about how horrible and unfair it was. I believe he’s a wonderful surgeon. He did a great job. But he abandoned a 3 days post surgery patient with zero resources. I called case management at the hospital, went to walk in clinics, no one could help me. I wouldn’t ever recommend this surgeon. This was the worst experience of my life.

When I meet Dr. Lense in Orlando, FL (2005) for the very first time I knew in my HEART ð??? that I found an AMAZING DOCTOR. I truly miss my DOCTOR.

Jorge Lense is an amazing doctor! He's very knowledgeable and caring. He saved my life and chance of having more children. If not for him I may not be alive today. Dr. Lense is a very special doctor.

If you are looking for an OB Dr. Lense is the one! I wanted to have a midwife at a birth center, but due to being diagnosed with gestational diabetes, that was not an option. I ended up having some complications due to a prior surgery which led to a 3 day induction. Dr. Lense was incredibly patient and did everything he could to support my goal of not having a c-section. It was not the delivery I planned for but it was a great experience thanks to Dr. Lense and his tireless efforts to help me get through it as naturally as possible. Trust me when I say he is an amazing OB to have when the day comes.

Dr. Lense is the best doctor ever. I have been trying to conceive for 2 years and it was never a success. I later moved to Georgia and I searched for a doctor and I luckily found him and made an appointment. I am very particular about my care; I knew from the first visit that he was the one. On the first visit, he discovered I had fibroids and hyperinsulinism and these were the reasons for my infertility. 7 months later, I became pregnant and I honestly thought it was the impossible. He is caring and very accurate. I would recommend him to everyone that I know because he is truly the best!!!!

I actually saw a different doctor in this same practice and I developed into a high risk pregnancy. I didn't really like the doctor I had because she never took the time to talk to me and reassure me. I did something I should have never done and I allowed her to blow me off and in turn I lost my baby. The only good that came out of this was that I met DR LENSE!!! He delivered my baby way to early and she didn't make it. He had the best bedside manner and was so caring, he went out of his way to make me realize that I didn't have to go thru this again. He iniated every test and specialist visit he could and I'm one very hopeful patient. I wish that I could say he would be the doctor whom I would be seeing the next time I become pregnant but unfortunately I'm moving out of state. I hope I can find a doctor that is comparable to his work. He is very passionate and I would recommend him any day!!! I hope this helps someone choose the doctor that truly fits their situation.

Dr. Lense was my main caregiver from C.W. while I was pregnant with my 3rd child. He was beyond caring and knowledgeable. I come from a family that literally wrote the book on Patient Care and Dr. Lense was a perfect example of what to look for in an OBGYN. Every visit he was prompt and never made us feel rushed like many do in the business. Always answered all our questions, soothed our concerns and took extra time and effort to make sure myself and my child was well taken care of. I was higher risk and ended up being induced. The day of delivery was right out of the movies. Myself and 1 other women went into hard late labor at the same time and he was in the middle of both, trying to see who he had to play catch with first. He handled himself with more grace and professionalism than any doctor I have ever seen. I have had a total of 3 children and I wish Dr. Lense could have delivered my first two. Sadly, we had to move shortly after delivery but no matter how far I move, I will always measure every future OBGYN against Dr. Lense. He set the bar and he set it high.

After years with a huge HMO that didn't get it, it was one visit with Dr. Lense and then the follow-up to complete. I wish I would have made the move a long time ago.He is acutally "present" during the visit. Responsive. Actively listens and communicates exceedingly well on the patient level.
