Jose Arias's Online Review Report Card

I had an appointment today and once I got into see Dr. Arias, he explained there was no test for the food sensitivity I was requesting. I didn't think to inquire before making the appointment. Dr. Arias offered to just cancel the further appointment and refund my somewhat hefty co-pay. He was so very nice and understanding. I have used this practice several times and highly recommend Dr. Arias.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Arias for 3+ years. I would highly recommend him. She has had chronic asthma since birth, been on several preventative meds, steroids and had seen several specialists before seeing Dr. Arias. Dr Arias took the time to listen to our suggestions, ask about her history with asthma and came up with creative solutions. We never felt rushed. We are so grateful to Dr. Arias. For years she had been diagnosed with "chronic asthma" when in reality she has asthma but most of her episodes are "vocal cord dysfunction" (more commonly known as VCD) which can be controlled with breathing techniques. I am happy to report that her asthma is controlled (for the first time) we are on one preventative med and no steroids!!! Thank you Dr. Arias for everything you have done for our daughter!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Arias for years now and he is wonderful! He explains everything in detail and welcomes questions. He is extremely friendly and since I've been seeing him for a while, makes the appointment an enjoyable conversational experience. I have terrible seasonal allergies and cat allergies. He recommended allergy injections which have helped tremendously. I would recommend him to anybody, any day.

Dr. Arias is an excellent doctor. Although he is an allergist, he treats the whole person & symptoms, not just "allergies". I wish he was my primary care doctor. Years ago he had me see a gastroenterologist for a cough, turns out it was Barrett's Esophagus which could have been serious. Recently, after having a persistent bronchitis type cough for over a year & seeing 2 other doctors who only increased medications, he suggested I see another pulmonologist, sent an email to this doctor with suggestions for tests to be done, including a bronchial scope. The results indicated I had 2 lung infections, one very serious that required I be on strong antibiotics for over 6 months. Dr. Arias is who I go to for recommendations if I have any questions on ANY symptoms or prescriptions. I have seen him for over 10 years. He is really the best doctor I have ever been to.

After 5 doctors couldn't figure out my problem, with about a year of tests, he diagnosed me, outside of his usual specialty of allergies, in about one minute. He had previously read my entire chart though, so there was some time spent there. He apparently has no hobbies except reading medical literature. 3 other doctors in the area said about him, saying "Yeah, he's pretty good," and were not surprised that he was the one who diagnosed my relatively rare but easily fixed problem.

Dr Arias is an excellent physician who has provided top quality service to me and my family. I've recommended him to several friends and family members.

Dr. Arias truly changed my life. I went from a very poor quality of life with breathing issues to now a completely new person. My breathing problems were preventing me from exercising and interfering with work and my personal life. After one year of treatment and sticking with the doctor's orders for treatment, I am a new person with minimal breathing issues. He is a truly great doctor who takes the time at every visit to make sure you are properly using your medication and making sure you understand your diagnosis.

I have been a patient of Dr Joseph Arias at Allergy Asthma Specialist in Orlando for more than 20 years. I cannot say enough positive comments about Dr Arias or his office staff . The good doctor was the only one to figure out more than one drug allergy after many other physicians could not. He takes all the time you need to ask questions .Dr Arias is one of few physicians I see that is always on time . All messages left for him are returned promptly . His office staff is a delight and always courteous and professional .There is no other allergy physician I would prefer to see !
