Julie Ramos's Online Review Report Card

If you want a doctor who only wants to tell you what to do and does not want any feedback from you as the patient this is your doctor. This woman had know knowledge of my history with doctors, no understanding of how hard I have tried to lower my cholesterol, no knowledge that high cholesterol is hereditary in my family. She also did no know how sensitive I am to being overdosed on medication which has happened to me many times in the last twenty years. So I took charge and expect communication with my doctors and expect them to listen to me and discuss options not just sit there and be treated like anybody and do what I an told. I am unique, we all are and we have a right to be heard by our doctors. No one knows more about me than me. She told me I was set in my ways because I tried to discuss my cholesterol with her and all she kept saying was that she was not going to argue with me. At this point I believe she probably does not know as much about cholesterol as I do.

Great bed side manner, Dr. Ramos really cared about my well being, i was not just a number.

She does not know about cardiovascular issues and just goes "by the numbers". She does not even know the difference between ketosis and ketoacidosis, and has a cynical approach towards patients who have done their own research. In my opinion, she's not only not helping patients, but doing great harm. She did not even once address nutrition in my visit, except to try to make me feel inadequate when in fact I'm extremely mindful and informed about my nutritional and lifestyle choices. I would highly recommend against visiting this practitioner.

My husband and I both went to Dr. Ramos when she was in Arizona and we are very disappointed that she relocated. We both felt like we got exceptional care and she was instrumental in diagnosing me properly. We miss her and wish she was back in AZ.

Julie is what all other Physicians should strive to become! She takes what other Doctors have tried so very hard to achieve and pushed it to the next level. She makes me feel like I am her only patient and the time she spends with me she does so with a thoroughness that far exceeds ANY doctor on this side of the globe. Dont walk, RUN, to this gem of the desert while she still accepts patients. My entire family will always be taken care of as long as Doctor Ramos is looking out for us.

she is wonderful, caring and wants to be on top of your process and progress at all times. I have never met a doctor so into a patient's care as she is. Once you are her patient - she never forgets what you go to her for, always responses to your phone calls, never hesitates to help, and always makes sure you are OK. I wish if I had the flu I could go to her - I know she would do her best to help me get over it. A personal doctor we do not see to often anymore. She cares and it does not matter what time of day you need her to help!!! She will be there !!!

Dr.Ramos is one of the best! She is one of the very few in Arizona that treats her patients as a person, not a number.Very caring, very supportive, excellentbedside manner, very personable, works hard to find a correct answer-----now, if we could glue her body to location and have her stay there, she would be 100% perfect.

At the age of 70 I can say that I have met more than a few cardiologists, but Dr. Ramos has impressed me the most. She is caring, observing, very communicative, develops a wonderful and immediate rapport with the patient and leaves no question unanswered.
