Kathryn Gottschalk's Online Review Report Card

I had made an appointment with Dr. Gottschalk as a new patient early 2022 and the earliest I could get in was in June 2022. This office changed my appointment 4 TIMES!!! My final appointment was scheduled Friday November 18, 2022 and 2 days before that they called to confirm with me and get my health history over the phone, that was at 2 pm. At 4:59 pm, 1 minute before the office closed, they called me to reschedule my appointment for a fifth time because the dr had an "emergent" c-section scheduled for Friday. How is an "emergent" c-section scheduled 48 hours in advance?? I cancelled my appointment and spoke with the office manager. I was told that they were understaffed and that she would be glad to make a future appointment for me. I declined. I would highly suggest people stay away from this office if you want good healthcare. ADVENT HEALTH needs to do better

Had a new pt appt with Michelle Burton CNM, RN. Everyone in the office I had contact with was so nice and professional.

She’s very caring she’s all about her patients and what their needs are she’s about actually wanting to help you get better the best OB/GYN I have ever had.

Have had my appointment cancelled and rescheduled due to her being "on call" 3 times now over the past few months. I'm having an awful time getting in to see a doctor. Finally had to give up on this one and schedule with another doctor. Very frustrating.

She is the best OB/GYN. I highly recommend Dr. Gottschalk she listens to your needs/concerns and actually helps and recommends the best treatment. I feel like a patient with her unlike my old OB/GYN where I felt like a number with him and he didn’t care about my needs/concerns. You’re in the best hands with Dr. Gottschalk.

I would love to give this office a five start review but unfortunately I’ve been trying to get an appointment since May ! I had an appointment scheduled I received a call stating They had to reschedule for July 25th from July 12th so I went ahead and got that appointment scheduled. My insurance website as well as the office said she was accepting new patients. I received a call today stating that the office had a message to call me because I put in an urgent request since my appointments kept getting rescheduled. Today once I received that call a office staff member informed me she isn’t taking new patients all of a sudden when I’ve been waiting for over three months for an appointment! I’ve been having really bad issues and pain for the last two years and this isn’t for a regular exam I found Dr. Gottschalk Through my insurance company read her reviews which were amazing and I really needed a doctor who is compassionate and cares about her patients since I haven’t had much success in the past with previous OBGYNS. So to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Not in the dr whom I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet but I’m the staff who can’t seem to keep an appt for me or inform me that she isn’t taking new patients over two months ago. I was just left with this last phone call that stated she will have an office manager reach out to me but since I’ve been waiting three days for a call back from an appointment they canceled laura canceled specifically I’m not holding my breath. I would still love to get in to see this doctor to see if she can help with my pain, intense menstrual cycles and infertility issues. I hope someone can reach out to me and find me an appointment on her schedule . Thank you.

You know you are a great doctor when you have patients follow you to your new location!

If it’s not a vagina, she doesn’t care. Worst experience with this practice and the physician. Her bedside manner could use some compassion and some work.
