Roy Ambinder's Online Review Report Card

This doctor is very patronizing condescending and arrogant and refuses to answer detailed questions. Basically recommends a treatment doesnt explain why and when you press him he says you have no choice in the matter. In this day and age that is truly unacceptable He is not up to date on the latest medical treatments tests and breakthroughs and immediately jumps to overmedicating. This has been my personal experience so to answer the question of would I recommend him to friends and family? NO.

He tells you that he is going to get the bottom of your disorder and really figure out what is wrong with you but then he refuses to answer any questions on what type of tests he ran on you and blames everything on heavy menstruation which does not account for my iron issues or so called iron deficiency anemia from when I was 7 years old He is very blunt and does not have the best bedside manner after one visit. He is super great with his staff and buys them lunch daily from wherever Dr. Ambinder seems too old to continue to practice medicine.

Told me I had a thyroid tumor and ordered a test that billed me and my insurance to the tune of thousands of dollars. Im still receiving bills 4 months later. Came to the next appt and there was no tumor and nothing was wrong. Apparently he mixed my chart up with someone else or just doesnt know what hes doing. Very disheveled and unprofessional appearance as well. Ill never use a doctor under the AdventHealth moniker again after my experience with this guy.

Dr. Ambinder is a world class doctor elite credentials first class care open honest and caring.

Very to the point but bright doctor.

He is such a warm compassionate and caring professional. He made me feel great after my first visit with him.

I am very have with Dr.Ambinder he shows interest in his fieldI feel very good about his team he has. I hope I will never lost him he has change my view of life and I want to thank him for that. Dr. Ambinder has the most wonderful nurses and a pretty good team.

Dr. Ambinder is hands down one of the greatest doctors Ive ever come to know. I was diagnosed with a form of colon cancer. When I found out I was shellshocked....and scared for how long I had. Once I saw Dr. Ambinder he very promptly put me on the right treatment I needed to get rid of it I owe this man my life. I pray he helps whoever reads this he brings hope compassion and hometown health care you cant get anywhere else.

At 42 I was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer. Dr. Ambinder staff worked with me answered all my questions and concerns as I was to face a good solid 5 months of chemo after I completed 30 radiation treatments on my hip and spine. The chemo experience was unreal and though they tried hard to help me avoid the illness that comes with chemo it was to no avail....theres no way around it only through it. After chemo was done scans showed it worked well and soon I was under control returned to work and its 5 years later. Im doing well and I attribute much of my success to Dr. Ambinders wisdom level of care and expertise. The man is a genious. He could polish up on his bedside manner a bit though. Sometimes the office visit feels rushed and with cancer patients this shouldnt be...we need to feel comfortable as best as possible so we can remember to ask the right questions Overall this doctor saved my life and hell work to save yours too. He will try everything and doesnt give up Thank you Doctor

I am a 23 year survivor of Stage 4 NHL...Dr. Ambinder and his staff have always been courteous professional kind and have answered any questioned asked from DAY 1 and I see him every 6 months no matter what
