Rapidly reviewed my mother's records. Honest Dr.
Didn't even visited yet and can see how unprofessional and incompetent staff is, it is impossible to reach in one phone call and after looks no one interested to listen
Have always been extremely pleased with Dr. Kirtane and the care I receive. I give hm five stars. However, if you have to handle anything by phone, good luck. Phones calls are rarely returned, and then only after repeated messages are left. It is truly quite troublesome.
Changing my review from 5 stars to 1. Dr. Kirtane is a great doctor, but his staff is highly unprofessional, argumentative, and disrespectful to his patients. I started going there in January of 2020, but as of today I found another pulmonologist whose staff is knowledgeable about the different types of insurance and immediately took my insurance information over the phone and scheduled an appointment for me. That's exactly what all of my other specialists did as well, but Dr. Kirtane's office staff refused to schedule an appointment over the phone when I told them my insurance changed from a PPO to an HMO BUT that this particular HMO does NOT require referrals. Dr. Kirtane's office is the only office who made a big deal about it and argued with me that all HMO plans require a referral and they refused to take my insurance information over the phone and refused to schedule an appointment until I scanned and emailed them a copy of my card. My other specialists and my new pulmonologist took my insurance information over the phone so they can verify my coverage and they scheduled an appointment for me without denying me access to care and without requiring me to have Florida Blue call them as Kamisha said I had to do before she hung up on me and without me having to scan and email my insurance card as Diane demanded before she hung up on me. This is why doctors offices take your insurance information over the phone prior to scheduling an appointment. It is their job to verify my insurance coverage with the insurance carrier, not my job to have Florida Blue call them to verify my coverage nor should I have to go out of my way to scan and email my insurance card to them when they simply could have asked me for my ID#, group #, provider phone number, and insured's name while they had me on the phone but they refused. It shouldn't be that difficult to schedule an appointment. It's a shame the doctor is receiving bad reviews due to his office staff's rude and argumentative nature, and poor work ethic. Apparently, they do not want to do their job. Going to send Randy Haffner, President and CEO of AdventHealth a PM to alert him of the reflection this behavior and negligence poses on the AdventHealth system.
Excellent doctor who listens and really cares .He is an excellent pulmonologist
I have been trying to make an appointment with this doctor for about 4 weeks now. They claim that they have not received my referral and my email shows delivered. I hope he sees this review and realized that this is no way to run a practice. I am in urgent need to see a specialist but no one calls me back to make an appointment. Therefore, I will be calling my insurance today to see if they can refer me to someone that actually cares. Thank you.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
