List of Thomas Steedle's Reviews
"Horrific personality, zero patient care, totally ignored me, and my medical condition impeding vision issues. Refused to listen to my condition." When you come across one of these doctor type with NASTY attitudes, dismiss them. Do not accept their abuse. Some of them have an in inherent superiority 'complex'. Remember - their service is one of an advisory capacity, not orders. Over the past 20 years of interacting with medical types I have come across a few horrid personality type that have no business being in the medical field which requires expertise and compassion. No compassion or person to person chemistry, you might as well be treated by a robot. I had one medical practitioner actually walk out the treatment room door as I was speaking to him in mid sentence. Needless to say - I never went back there. This guy seems to be a little on the too old and retirement side, slipping memory loss, old way of doing things instead of recent training techniques, etc. You need to look for: 1: BOARD CERTIFICATIONS 2: NOT TOO YOUNG - 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE 3: NOT TOO OLD - bordering on dementia. 4: READ THE PATIENT REVIEWS. I refuse to tolerate bad attitudes of mental issues from the people I select to treat me medical conditions.
Very gruff. Misdiagnosed me. Rushed me out the door while I was asking questions. Terrible "bedside manner". I won't be returning to him.
He was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor! He made me feel quite comfortable at such an unknowing, very nervous time. I can't believe some of these reviews are speaking of the same person... Glad I saw him before reading at the recommendation of my optometrist
Professional, exremely knowledgeable regarding eye problems. After seeing 3 other phuscians Dr.Steedle was able to diagnose the cause.
Horrific personality, zero patient care, totally ignored me, and my medical condition impeding vision issues. Refused to listen to my condition. Eye examine caused blurred vision, and horrible balance, which I expected, though Steedle dismissed without discussion. Ended up going to an eye specialist out-of-state. This doctor pinned pointed the issue and treated.
Worthless....Horrific personality, zero patient care, totally ignored me, and my medical condition impeding vision issues. Refused to listen to my condition. To me he seemed frazzled. My symptom history and exam were interrupted with him complainting about how I described sysmptoms. He kept saying I was wrong and meant smething else. I would nicely tell him he was mistaken. I may need to see some one eslse.
I agree with previous comment about the rushed nature of the eye exam, the over attention to written reporting of details at the expense of time spent with patient's concerns. I brought in a picture example of the type of post cataract surgery vision (color) distortion I was experiencing and the only question he had was "where did you get that picture?" In and out of the exam room in about 5 minutes.
Gave me the wrong diagnosis twice causing me vision loss
I saw Dr Steedle for an eye emergency. I was seeing a spinning wheel when I closed my eyes in the middle of the night and I was petrified. Dr Steedle was calm and reassuring and was straightforward with compassion. He called me personally with the results of my brain scan and his happiness at the positive results was evident in his voice. He is one in a million and I trust him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
