I decided to go for a second opinion after I experienced the worst nightmare at Moffitt Cancer Center by means of two mammograms and an ultrasound, they had completely misdiagnosed me for breast cancer as benign and then just told me to schedule an appointment for a check-up the following year! I was referred to Dr. Walter Hayne who changed my world by saving my life as I did have cancer and end up with a Mastectomy to prevent any possible future recurrences. Dr. Hayne is the most compassionate doctor and is extremely caring for his patients. His staff is incredibly dedicated and his nurse Samantha is very sweet and highly committed to his patients. I'm so blessed to have met Dr. Hayne and his team.

Diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago, I was understandably anxious and uncertain about my medical condition. Dr. Hayne treated me with what I shall call "straightforward compassion". He discussed, at length, the pros, cons, and potential variables associated with my different surgical options, but he never lost sight of the fact that I am a person, not just a surgical candidate. I was able to make an informed decision about my surgery, and I am very pleased with the results!

I saw Dr. Haynes on the 18th. Great experience. The staff makes checking in a breeze. Dr. Haynes nurse is very attentive & caring. Dr. Haynes took the time to explain my results and gave me options. He also found discrepancies on my Ultrasound & took the time personally to call the MRI center and request a 2nd one at no charge to me. Who does that these days? Surgery is stressful enough. Dr. Haynes & his staff make it less stressful. I highly recommend him & his staff. J Sanoguet

This Surgeon does not take the time to listen to patients, or their family. He Took my mother into Surgery in 2015 after a CT showed thyroid cancer in 2014, did not rescan although I asked for it, and went in blindly. Doing so he paralyzed my mothers vocal cords. He then washed his hands of her sending her to another MD who did an amazing job, but because of this doctors neglect, my mothers cancer spread and she is now dead.
