Dr. Soven was extremely dismissive my poor baby being sick and all was smiling at him and nothing no talk to the baby nothing at all he might as well have been examining the table. He was rough and it’s normal for babies to cry but my son did not stop crying. I brought my son in because he had been wheezing and when you hug him you could feel the vibration. Dr. Soven was really quick to say it just a cold and sent us home. I was not comfortable and had an Erie feeling about the whole thing. I listen to my guts and took him to another doctor and guess what I was right. My son had a double ear infection and his wheezing was so bad they sent him a nebulizer. Dr. Soven gave a horrible experience and could have made my poor 4 month old feel better but decided not to and be extremely negligent.

Terrible Experience - DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. It started out by going in over 6 times in 2 months for so called "ear infections." We see Dr. Soven and immediately he says - its not his ears, he has Asthma! When we started to ask questions as this doesnt make any sense (and his own colleagues have been saying my son needed to see an ENT specialist for ear infections and sinus issues), Dr. Soven started to get annoyed, raising his voice, and being rather condescending. Do not ever go to this clinic, all they care about is the buck!

AWFUL!!! It took me a month of waiting to get an appointment for my daughter with ADHD. Once I was there, he hadnt even reviewed the documents from the school yet and had no idea what was going on with my daughters behavior. In a matter of 5 min he wrote out a Rx for 20mg of Adderall Xr and Chlonidine for nighttime. That is a VERY large dose for a 6 year old who has never taken medication. My daughter began vomiting at 230pm the afternoon of her first dose. I took her back to the doctor the next day swab her for flu to rule it out and then requested to see Dr. Soven to lower the dose. The Dr. on duty asked me to continue to give medicate her over the weekend (it was Friday). Both drugs are respiratory depressants. My daughter complained of shortness of breath after her first dose of chlonidine at night. She didn't sleep that night and then she didn't sleep for three days because I couldn't not give her the chlonidine. I stopped giving my daughter the doses. I called Saturday morning and was told they would call back by 1030 and never got a call back. I still don't know when my daughter will actually be on the medication she desperately needs. NEVER GO TO THIS GUY!!!! He could KILL a kid like this.

Wayne Soven saved my child's life. We were visiting altamonte pediatrics for his quarterly check-up when my son had a violent allergic reaction to a peanut butter bar he was eating. I was irresponsible and stubborn not to check what he was eating, for I was busy checking the cyber Monday deals. I won't make that mistake again. Anyways, my son's throat started swelling shut, and Dr. Soven saw this situation unfolding and immediately rushed to his side. Long story short, he saved my sons life.

Dr. Soven was dismissive to me and my baby. He was rough when completing his examination. My baby generally cries for a few seconds after his shots, but it took at least 45 minutes to calm my baby down after Dr. Soven's examination. I will not allow Dr. Soven to examine my baby again even if it means leaving a practice with which I have been impressed!

Awful experience with dr. Soven. U took my son in for what I thought to be an ear infection, his first one ever. He walked in my saying a word and started to listen to his heart, then looked at his ears. Then took what looked like a crotchet needle and scraped inside his ear with out telling me anything about what he was doing. Then my son acted like he was in immense pain. And he normally doesn't cry at shots so I knew this hurt. He never consoled him or said anything to me. When I asked him if this was hurting him the doctor said he jut first like to be held down . What?????!!!! Needless to say no bedside manner and horrible service. Don't see him ever!

Been going this this office ever since my son was born. The last visit was much less than stellar. The woman answering the phones is rude, and anyone who know me know that you have to be pretty rude for me to even comment on it in conversation. As far as Dr. Sovin goes, he seemed okay, except for the part where he interrupted me mid-sentence to say he didn't care, and that my thoughts on my stuggles with add as a child and now adult were irrelevant to his treatment of my son. Are you serious? Who works for who here? Who knows, maybe he is so awesome he doesn't need manners.

Dr. Soven was treating my son for adhd...key word here is WAS!!!!!..DR SOVEN HAS NO INTREST OTHER THEN TO PUSH MED FOR THESE CHILDREN AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HELPING THEM WITH THEIR ISSUES WHICH CAN BE MANY. MY SON HAS SPEECH AND HEARING ISSUES AND DR SOVEN REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFERAL TO HAVE HIM SCREENED,AFTER MUCH PUSHING HE RELUCTANTLY GAVE IT TO ME.THE LAST DRAW WITH DR SOVEN WAS HIM WANTING TO PUT MY SON ON A MED DOSAGE THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH FOR A GROWN MAN TO TAKE KEEPING IN MIND MY SON IS 8 AND ONLY WEIGHTS 55 LBS.PLEASE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING TAKING YOUR CHILD TO BE TREATED BY DR SOVEN FOR ADD OR ADHD DON'T!!!!!!!!!

Just last month I was called in to go over some results of an ultrasound from a seperate issue. I saw a Dr. I never have seen there before (which wasnt surprising) after discussing her results he is babbling " ok so patient is doing well, ears look good, looks healthy right now..." Good thing I spoke up because THE DOCTOR NEVER EXAMINED HER! He said :oh I better check her ears. Good thing I said something because she has a massive ear infection . !!!!If you are reading this and still plan to take your child here.... my only suggestion is see anyone besides Dr. Soven.... he is the worst, most pompous and unsympathetic doctor I have ever met..

I saw Dr Soven for my son with add. i had previously gone to a class for parents with add which was very helpful in letting me know what I need from a doctor. Dr Soven is not what I need. He shrugged off my concerns when I told him that i wanted my son to have an ekg and eeg before medication. he just said that's not necessary (even though we don't know for sure that my son doesn't have a heart problem or seizures). all he seemed to want to do is write a prescription and push us out the door. he never spoke of any other type of help my son would need (i.e. therapy) we will not be continuing treatment with him.
