List of Wellmed Medical Group's Reviews
Communication is lacking and wait time for calls are 10+ minutes so I highly recommend using the portal. The staff is nice but you have to be persistent and diligent with scheduling.
Don’t waste your time. The office has no idea how to run a medical office. I made an appointment and it was confirmed that my insurance was accepted. The day before my appointment I received a message that I needed to reschedule my appointment for a different provider. I called back to reschedule my appointment. After taking the morning off of work and driving to the office I walked in the door to be told that I was rescheduled with a provider who wasn’t going to except my insurance. Don’t waste your time. Find an office that can keep their scheduling straight.
I had a great experience. Staff is professional and PA Maribella was great! The only concern was since moving locations from Altamonte Springs to Fern City the wait time was long.
I have been struggling with hair loss and Alopecia. I have been under another dermatologists care. The problem has slowed but still receding. i have done research and wanted to be more aggressive. I decided to seek a second opinion and I am Extremely happy I did! He is aware of all the new studies. They say he is the Dr. you go to when other dermatologist can't help with all dermatological issues!I have been struggling with hair loss and Alopecia. I have been under another dermatologists care. I can't say enough good things about this place!! I had the lofty goal of making a same day appointment even though it's always been such a hassle with other dermatologists... I went online & saw that this place had a super easy online appointment system & I was able to make one for that same day! When I came in, I answered intake questions on an iPad & very shortly after I gave back the iPad, I was called in. Ann was so friendly & truly eased my anxieties by explaining everything so thoroughly & professionally. Not only is her expertise obvious within minutes of meeting with her, but her genuine care & kindness towards patients was really lovely to experience. I will definitely come back to Ann for any dermatology needs & highly recommend booking with her!!
"One" star for office staff/administration. Went to have hubby's stitches taken out at the Altamonte office and notice on the door - THEY MOVED. Well, wouldn't it be nice to notify patients? When he called their office to re-schedule, the phone person said - yeah, they were getting a lot of calls that people weren't notified. Heck - even the doctor should have told him 2 weeks ago that they were moving. No excuse for this."One" star for office staff/administration. I have been going there for years to see the doctor's assistant. However I have noticed over the years that the Quality of the office staff has diminished quite a bit. They had a flood a while ago and didn't bother to call their patience and tell them they were closed. So we went there for nothing and they were closed.I had an appointment today and since they moved to another place and we'll be moving again next week, I could not find the place.I tried calling up several times but no answer.I go inside and I'm asked my name 4 times. I waited about a 1/2 an hour for the young man who was very polite to go and ask the assistant if she would see me since I was a few minutes lateDue to the fact that I couldn't find the place and no one would answer the phone, And she he said no I would have to reschedule. There are 2 girls standing around doing absolutely nothing one girl answering the phone but I called 3 different numbers and got no response whatsoever.I will not be going back here again because they truly don't care about their patients The way they should. They could inconvenience us and be closed and not even let us know that they're closed because they had a flood but then when we're a few minutes late because we can't find the new place they tell us we have to reschedule. oh and also because we can't get anyone to answer the phone.I have been going there for years to see the doctor's assistant. However I have noticed over the years that the Quality of the office staff has diminished quite a bit. …More
This place make you feel real comfortable they explain every detail and very friendly and do very good work. I’m very happy my outcome
I've been referred to Advanced DermatologyFor a basal Cell on my arm I arrive guests are in waiting in waiting area no mask Staff at front deck is rude I meet with PA ok He wants my reports from California sent Which I did and Sacto office sent them straightaway I've been calling for two days trying to get a response as to if reposts have been receivedNo matter which number I press I get a recording Leave a message no one responds Not even the Office Manager when I press urgent I find them not responsive to customers needs I will be looking for a new place once they get back to me
They give new meaning to the phrase, “Pay or die” never go back there again. It’s all about the almighty $ and not healthcare. How is it I have to pay close to $300.00 on top of my insurance premium for a biopsy and to burn a couple of spots off my arms?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
