Dr. Rivera has been fantastic so far. Dr. Rivera is attentive, has a great "bedside manner", seems to care, and spends extra time to understand what's going on. My only frustration and why I left a 4-star review is because of the office staff; unfortunately, they tend to be the opposite. This is not to say they are unfriendly, but there seems to be a significant disconnect. Even getting them to reply to a phone call has been trying.

Went to see Dr. Silva for a bladder dynamic test. I was not prepared properly for the procedure. I was not given an antibiotic before the procedure or after. A day later he forced me to go to emergency where I spent 9 hours only to determine I had a bladder infection and a urinary tract infection. His empathy is lacking and is always to blame something else. The icing on the cake was the famous line that I am the first that this has happened to. How many times has one heard this explanation? Do yourself a favor don't see this guy. He is dangerous.

I went in for a bladder dynamic test. I was not given any antibiotics before or after. I ended up in emergency because the doctor would not see me. He insisted I go to emergency. I spent 9 hours in emergency because I had nothing but blood in my urine. I had a urinary and bladder infection. The night before I was nearly paralyzed from infection. Finally after being in emergency Dr. Silva walked downstairs from his office to tell me I was his first patient that this happened to. How many times have we heard this excuse? This person has no sympathy in his whole body. It was excuse one right after the other. Do not go see this guy.

Doctor Jose Silva Rivera is extremely intelligent, empathetic and caring. I am very picky about my medical so I am very glad I found him. His back office staff can use a little help, but as for a doctor, he is great!!! I highly recommend him!!

I had heard that he relocated to Florida. It would be a blessing to have him back in Puerto Rico!
