I received the ANR treatment for my prolonged use of opioids (Heroin, Suboxone, Methadone, Percs, you name it) in DeSoto this year. Thank you, ANR and DeSoto, for giving me my life back. I didn't believe that it was possible. I really didn't!!! Thanks again.

Worse darn hospital ever the nurse Rita was completely rude when ask to check my daughter out wanted to blame it on Covid. Stated they do not have a pediatric cardiologist, nor do they have the proper equipment to treat a child, I will definitely be continuing this to the next level of Authority. When the nurse Rita tells you they can not do anything time you walk back in the room that’s a issue, if they can’t help as a hospital well who the hell can.

Never will I return for genuine issues just to be discharged with an “anxiety attack” diagnosis. Absolutely humiliating to have genuine symptoms that may not be able to be diagnosed in the ER. If that’s the case, let the patients know!!! I will not return, I’ll make the hour drive to Sarasota for quality care!

I was on my way to Venice when I had a serious heart episode. From the time I stepped in the door everyone was on point, friendly and reassuring that everything was going to be okay despite my heart rate spiking. The ER doctor was so calm and talked me through everything that was going to be done. Brandon, one of the nurses, was so calming. He called my husband for me (as I was 2 1/2 hours away from home) and updated him on everything that was going on. I wish I could remember all of the nurse's names to thank them all pesonally. I ended up in the ICU where nurse Shawna and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Never once had a bad experience, except for the salmon dinner Friday night.......they should take that off the menu :-)

Now, if I would’ve read the reviews before I went, I probably would’ve just stayed home and suffered, but thank God my experience was a lot better than what most others have experienced here and that is all thanks to my nurse Michael. Now I am not trying to downgrade anybody else’s experience here because trust me, I have had a ton of horrible ER experiences, but yesterday was not one of them. Everybody who I encountered was extremely nice, but I spent most of my time with Michael. He is definitely a bright ray of sunshine during a dark time. He set the tone off with his dry corny jokes, which really helped break the ice, as much as I wasn’t in the mood to hear them at the moment, I really appreciated them. Michael is a very kind soul and we definitely need more people like him in the healthcare system. I pray that all of you get a “Michael” as your nurse wherever you go. Michael if you read this don’t change who you are you are a great person, and I hope you get to fulfill your previous dream! 🍄

DO NOT DO NOT go to this hospital. I ended up at at the hospital about 2 am with some kind of allergic reaction. Staff was unwelcoming, dirty, my “nurse” was high out of his mind smelt like straight up weed. Doc was so unorganized. My “nurse” drew my blood with bussed clothes got blood everywhere. And didn’t even discharged me he had to get someone’s else to discharge me. And said oh you’re just having an anxiety. Lol okay go anywhere but then. You are not safe in there care.
