Darlene Lobel's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Lobel's license should be stripped. She performed back surgery on my mom. A week later she decided that the wound needed a wound vac. She performed an I&D at the bedside on my mom, no pain medication. She was rushing because she was being paged for surgery. My mom's surgery site had been stitched up a week before, so why was she not sent to the OR for this procedure. Long story short, she was the absolute worst , uncaring, unethical doctor I have ever met. Then had the nerve to try and give my mom some valium at the end of her butchering procedure.

My experience with Dr. lobel was great from start to finish. The the initial exam was very thorough and required quite some time. The results of the 2016 surgery where better than I expected and exceeded what Dr. Lobel's felt would be a good outcome prior to my spinal surgery.Post surgery follow up very good with my PCP also involved, was impressed the results to this day.The whole Cleveland Clinic experience was quite great

I had surgery in Septemebr 2017 having a Baclofen pump put in. It has been nothing but horrible. She stopped during surgery and asked my husband if I had a previous spinal surgery. He said "yes" my wife has had 6 visists before this surgery and has told each doctor every visit. I find it hard to believe something so major could be overlooked. When I was released home I had a complications. She lacked empathy and was just rude. I find it odd she's already leaving Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Lobel is the worst. I received a letter that she is leaving Cleveland Clinic. She was very strange and did not go to meetings about me. She said she did not want to do surgery on me after I waited at home for weeks. I am so happy she did not operate on me because I went to a good surgeon when I realized how crazy she is. I pity the poor people where ever she is going and feel she is a dangerous Dr. and many others have had the exact same experience I had with her.

Dr Libel is now at Cleveland Clinic. She is no better than she was in GA. Saw her to get neurosurgery which was not complicated. She had staff neurologist administer a test to see how my problem had affected me. The testwas a farce. She told me to go home and they woild contact me about when the sugery would be. We called and called for several weeks. She was not even attending the meetings about my surgery. Eventually she called and said she chose NOT to do my surgery. What a waste!
