Its ashame i cant give negative stars.
day..would rather see/keep a vet. in a wheelchair for the rest of their life than to continue care to them as prescribed by previous Dr.s...he does not care about their productivity in life or their quality of life.
I am told constantly that I should get a job that doesn't require a lot physical activity after asking for a non narcotic pain reliever. If he wants to pay my bills that would be fine. Trying to get seen by a specialist is a real hassle. In my opinion he is what is wrong with th VA.
Dr.Day has no consecpt or understanding of severe chronic pain originating from the entire hundred year old spine. He feels that if a patient suggests the pain medication he takes should be increased to one every six hours, Dr. Day's responce is "I refuse to increse it, GO SOMEWERE ELSE." What a comment. Is that anyway to respond to a veterans request? He has a preconceived notion that you must be a drug addict for asking, stating that pain medication effects the brain to make you feel good, and that makes you an addict. REALLY? Almost every medication one takes effects a brain center to chemicly produce endorphins which help with pain. Isn't that that what most medications are suposed to do? Insulting the patients intelligence and dismissing what he has to say is not looking out for the best interest of the veteran who has lived with sever chronic pain for over FIFTY YEARS, and is getting worse with age. Unfortunatly not following the doctrine of "DO NO HARM" does not apply.
Guy refuses to see me because I am rude to his staff. No other option is being offered but him by the VA leaving me unable to use healthcare system.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
