She been our physician for many years. Highly recommended!
Dr. Maynard has been my Primary Care Doctor for 10 years. She is pleasant to talk with, very knowledgeable on a broad range of medical topics, and most important - is Patient Centric. Dr. Maynard adapts to your style, and takes a sincere interest in the "whole" person; not just a symptom or medical condition. She also is very responsive to the many emails I have sent to her through the Mayo Patient Portal.
Dr. Maynard is very knowledgable, informative and patient.
super nice and very profetional, caring, and knowledge
I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for Dr. Roth. She is not only my physician but also my pseudo-therapist... I had been undiagnosed for over two years (perhaps even longer) with thyroid problems which has caused me horrible pain and I was on the verge of a break down because my previous doctor had made me feel like I was crazy. I had rarely ever been to a doctor prior to this so there was no reason for my previous doctor to think I was a hypochondriac or something, however, I was fortunate enough that my insurance changed and I was able switch to Mayo and to Dr. Roth. She patiently listen to everything I had to say and did not hesitate to refer me to specialist when I needed them. I do think that she is very straight forward and to the point so she may not be for everyone but she is also progressive, completely honest and understanding. I have literally broken down crying and she showed nothing but kindness and patience. Also, if she knows she is not an expert on a certain matter she has no problems admitting it and she appreciates patients that do their own research to understand the situation better, unlike some doctors that mistake that as you second guessing them.If you are looking for someone who is bubbling with smiles and does a lot of "hand holding" then she probably is not for you (Try Dr. Brinker for that, he seems pretty bubbly and is with Mayo Primary as well.) but if you are looking for someone who is progressive, frank and willing to go the distance with you no matter how many symptoms you may present to them then perhaps Dr. Roth is for you. Not that the other doctors at Mayo Primary do not have those qualities but this rating is about Dr. Roth.Unlike the previous reviewer, I've never had a problem contacting Dr. Roth and she has always gotten back to me within 48 hours, sooner if I let the nurses know it's urgent. Also, the nurses (Although, I think the nurses there are great as well.) and/or the billing really have nothing to do with Dr. Roth. She is under the Mayo system so I'm sure the billing is automatically done through that system. Just remember, with any doctor, you are your own best advocate. Do research on your symptoms/condition so you know what labs you may need and request copies of any lab results (Mayo has an online service so you can see your lab work as soon as they are done.) and look up what they mean so you understand your body better. No doctor can know everything and you are the one who knows your body best. Be sure to ask questions and don't expect the doctors to be mind readers, if you don't think they are giving you enough information on your condition speak up.I hope this information helps someone. Good luck on your search for the right doctor for you.
I would like to inform everyone that when seeing Dr Roth, one needs to be careful. From my personal experience I had left messages for her to return my phone call, after our appointment and she never did. Her nurses are not that helpful at all. The worst part is that I regret going to her and picking her as my doc. She really needs to listen and give advise like she really cares, since this is the reason why patients go to doc and trust them with everything, and not charge patients for everything that they discuss.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
