List of Adam Wellikoff's Reviews
Dr. Wellikoff is a wonderful doctor. He takes time to listen to the patient and asks questions, but if you need to ask him a question or for a refill of pulmonary medication, you will wait a long time. They don't answer their phone and I used their text message system, which they prefer, and still did not receive a response for five days. Unfortunately, my husband needed nebulizer medication within that time. He had to be admitted to a hospital for his condition and was able to get the medication necessary for him there. Pulmonary conditions are far too important to wait that many days for a response.
Dr. Wellikoff is great! He’s quick and answered all of my questions and concerns, and is very professional and knowledgeable. The front desk woman on Dec 17 @4 p.m. was great. She is very welcoming and has a friendly attitude. Whoever worked at the front desk on Dec 19 @12:20 p.m. should be FIRED. Your attitude was disgusting, just like that 3 strands of hair you got on your chin. The roaches on your back call you home. Your loved one should put you in a nursing home and leave you there, and not visit you. Don’t play with me, you thing.♥️
The stall has no respect for their patients, They never answer their phone.
The office staff are the worst! Just rude, confrontational and cranky!
Dr. Wellikoff treated my dad with a lot of respect and care and so, when I needed a pulmonary doctor, he was the automatic choice. Doctors thought I might have lymphoma and so, being that I had a golfball-size lymph node between my heart and my lungs, I was (wisely) told by Dr. Wellikoff that since it shrank, he suggested another PET Scan in a couple of months to see what changes there would be. Sure enough, many more lymph nodes were showing up and he immediately did a biopsy and sent out the sample to be examined. I was told that it could take at least 5 business days for a result. A few days later, Dr. Wellikoff called me PERSONALLY to give me the good news that it was NOT cancer, but just an inflammation. I have full confidence that he will follow it up all the way. I have NEVER had a doctor call m HIMSELF like that! This guy is a really wonderful human being. He cares and shows it in his office demeanor and all-around behavior. I am beyond impressed. Incidentally, his office staff is very polite and professional. I was impressed with them as well! G-d bless all of you!!!
Subpar Im trying to get a CPAP machine for two months now. Rude office people. Poor manners. They cancelled my appointments twice
Outstanding I went to the Atlantis office. Staff was friendly and attentive. Office was pleasant. Wait time was minimal (1:15 apt, in the back by 1:20, saw the Doctor by 1:30). Doctor was great. He asked the right questions, listened to my answers, he explained everything thoroughly in a way I could understand. He answered all of my questions. He spent plenty of time with me and made feel comfortable with the upcoming procedure. I would highly recommend him and his Atlantis office staff
Lack of office response and covid protocols I love Dr Wellikoff and Dr Bakst. They are good doctors. However, the office staff are not conscientious about returning calls to answer messages or respond to emails. Went into the office today, not only were people walking around without masks and staff did not insist they put one on. Keep in mind this is an office for people with lung conditions. Receptionist a young girl very unprofessional. Attempted to have a thoracentesis set up after visiting primary care for Mom a half hr earlier and after a recent chest x-ray week before. same day and day before no response from office manager or medical assistant to email messages or in person visit. My mother has heart failure and pleural effusions in both lungs. If one of the doctors are away there is evidently no coverage or response to the concerns of your loved one. Relating my own experiences. I would consider what I have written here closely if you care about your loved one.
everyone was kind and Dr Wellikoff was kind .
Doctor is ok but staff and office is the worst. Place is run like a factory without and caring at all. Machines are all you get with numerous calls and no call back even if you leave messages. Bad experience stay away and find a place that cares about their patients without machines. No humans to pick up a call!! There is also no social distancing too many patients in waiting room!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
