Dr. Faber saved my life—period. I was in very poor physical condition w breathing difficulties, and chest pain. I entered the VA Emergency room. Thankfully, the head emergency room physician examined and diagnosed me. His assessment based on a very high electrolyte count was, I was experiencing a heart attack. He immediately sent me down by ambulance to HCA-JFK Cardiac Care immediately! There I was assessed by Dr Christano Faber, who performed a very complicated open-heart surgery procedure w superior expertise. Many staff told me afterward that He had definitely saved my life as not many survive it. My family and I will be forever grateful to him! Sincerely, Larry Bredahl

Had a mild heart attack and required bypass surgery. Dr. Faber was extremely compassionate and explained everything beforehand. He was there before and afterwards to make sure I was doing well. First major surgery and I came out awesome. Thank God and Dr. Faber.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Dr Faber. My husband had to have an emergency Open heart at JFK. Dr Faber was indredible and answered all our questions. He was also very positive and realistic about the procedure. We came in for a post op appointment after the surgery with his nurse practitioner and ran into him on our way out and he stopped to say Hello and take another look at things. He stopped what he was doing to talk to us and tell us how great my husband looked!
