Not only is Dr Sylvin's office top notch in my opinion he's the best surgeon in his field bar none ! I am Speaking from personal experience.

Dr. Sylvin is the ULTIMATE PROFESSIONAL doctor. He should be reminding other doctors why they went to Med School and to remember why they took their oath. Unlike most Florida doctors, he never looked at his watch. Dr. Sylvin LISTENED, he actually listened offering me faith, as if he wanted to help me. My experience with Florida doctors is that they only care to maintain you, nothing else. "SILVER TOGUE TREATMENT." ****On the other hand, this office is a total mess. Can't tell if there is an office manager, from the way it is run, one would doubt that. After waiting for the longest time, a voice that is not understandable picks up. Rarely was a call returned. If I did get one, I needed to repeat everything, similar to speaking with a first grader. It appears that HCA, the co that runs many of the Florida offices, is interested in ONLY ONE THING, the bottom line and that is $$$$$$$$. Where has the humanity gone? Guess we know why the GREAT Docs move out of Florida. Please stay Dr. Sylvin, keep your desire to listen, define the actual problem, and eventually help us. We need more of you!

Dr. Erik Sylvin is a brilliant and caring surgeon. I have an extensive medical history in addition to anxiety that's ridiculous. Dr. Sylvin put together a plan to do a lung resection and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Even made sure I could contact him 24 hours a day if needed, which I did and he called me back in 2 minutes! A gifted surgeon with a great, caring personality. Very rare. He takes time to listen and explains things thoroughly. I never felt rushed. I highly recommend him. Give 10 stars if I could!
