List of Lyle Hurwitz's Reviews
Dr. Hurwitz is an excellent doctor. He has been my doctor for many years. I highly recommend him!
Visit to Dr Lyle Herwitz’s Office is always a positive experience. Doc himself is a wonderful specialist who gives you his time and explains examination/details of the visit well. Staff are also very courteous. I have been his patient for almost 15 years and three colonoscopies later, it continues to be a great medical experience.
The Doctor was very efficient and asked a lot of questions to come up with what my problem might be.
My experience has been great. The physician is very competent on his field and well organized in his clinic.
The best
The reason I have given 4 stars is because it is very difficult to get through the office. My primary care physician had to call, just to get an appointment to see the Dr.
Awesome Doctor and staff.
Dr. Hurwitz is an excellent, knowledgeable doctor. He cares for his patients as he tries to find alternatives to treat your problem. He explains clearly the steps you need to follow to improve your gastro health issue. I strongly recommend Dr. Hurwitz.
Office was difficult to reach reception by telephone to make an appointment. Kept being put on hold. Dr Hurwitz was easy to talk to and answered all my questions.
My spouse was a former long time patient of Hurwitz and was highly recommended to another GI doctor. Went to have routine colonoscopy and new physician found very large mass in his intestine. The new physician showed us the photos taken during his procedure and pointed out a blue tattoo adjacent to it. He said that’s routine to mark a possible suspicious area to be closely watched. It was never mentioned. This mass had been growing for 5 years! He had part of his intestine removed, then got peritonitis followed by a large hernia that needed surgery. Is this the physician you want in charge of your health?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
