I've never been to the office, the 1st time I met the Dr was 30 sec. before anesthesia. Scheduling procedure followup is next to impossible. As far as the Dr goes i hope he's good but i wouldnt know since I havnt been seen by anyone since my watchman procedure . I would think twice before using this office.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Marcelo A. Jimenez, MD. In 2011, he did a superb job implanting my ICD unit while serving his Electrophysiology Fellowship at Loyola University Med Center in Maywood (Chicago) IL. Before the surgery during preparation Dr. Jimenez answered all of my questions in a way that I could understand. I was impressed with the professional manner and attention to detail in which he directed the surgical team at the outset of the procedure.

I think Dr Jiminez is great and to me he seems to be very upfront and honest,; office staff not so much. Had an ablation and had to make my own follow up appointment. How the hell would you know if the surgery was a success? Have had several issues in the past dealing with the office staff. All easily avoidable

I, as ex-patient of Dr. Marcelo A. Jimenez, would not recommend him, beware of having an ablation done with this doctor or any other doctor about having this procedure done. They don't explain the side effects, like for example damage to the heart, damage to the electric heart system, damage to the heart tissue, damage to the abdominal aorta, damage to the heart's pace maker. "Beware " they don't give you any explanation about it. The remedy could be worse than the sickness. In the case that something happens to me, because of this doctor, for not giving me an explanation of all the bad things that could happen, I have a post traumatic stress, serious sleeping problemsI would like for the FDA , medical board in Tallahassee Fl. to know about this. The lack of follow up by this Doctor office is amazing. No follow up to surgery, no set appt and wanted to do a video call. That is funny. How can you tell if my heart is in the desired place on a phone call. It is only about billing a visit for insurance. Very disappointing.

I would not go to this doctor if he was the last doctor in the state.I saw him as a new patient,I have a defibrillator /pacemaker since 2001.I have well documented Atrial Tachycardia, which was well controlled for all those years.In March of 2018, I started to have significant episodes of Tachycardia and an arrhythmia.I am also a RN with 41 years of experienceDr Jimenez treated me as if I was a hysterical female and did not listen to me.He very quickly said, I would love to do an ablation on you. I did not ask or want an ablation.He then decided to have me where a monitor for a week. I am on an immunosuppressant medication and had MRSA 3 times following invasive procedures, also a strange intervention as I have a defibrillator and pacemaker, monitoring my heart rhythms continuously.But he was the doctor, so I thought he must know what he was doing How WRONG I was .I wore the monitor, and then sent it back. This was early December, I heard nothing from the doctor, regarding the results. I called the office and requested the results, I was referred back to my regular cardiologist. I never received the results, which may have indicated a life-threatening arrhythmia.As I heard nothing regarding my results and in my experience as a nurse, a doctors office will contact the patient.Since, I was unable to obtain my results, I made an appointment with my previous EP doctor, he is in Virginia, I was a patient with this group for 22 years.When I told my EP what had occurred, his response was « what an idiot «  You have a defibrillator, why would you need another monitor.I then went back to Florida and went to my regular cardiologist, for a follow -up, and was told I had an EKG which showed I had A-Fib, I was shocked as, I have hundreds of EKG’s since the day I was born..oh forgot to mention I have a congenital heart condition, Tetrology of Fallot. My EKG is very unique, the EKG, that was supposed to be mine looked totally different.I then asked what my December monitoring showed and was told my regular cardiologist, did not have those results.I was nearly fell off he chair, how could the EP NOT provide my regular cardiologist with my results, which Could indicate a life threatening arrhythmia !!My regular cardiologist office called Dr Jimenez office to request my results I signed paperwork requesting my results, which by law is my right, and they were told I could not have them unless I made an appointment which meant I would be paying a co-payment.This sounds a little like insurance fraud to me.!!!!..I spoke with an attorney who confirmed that I had every right to my results and did not need to make an appointment.I called Dr Jimenez office and advised them what my attorney told me, the next morning, suddenly my results were given to my regular cardiologist....one would think that was the end of thé issues..today I received a bill for almost $4000.00,for this test , that was determined to be not medically necessary ( I have excellent insurance), and they went back to the provider a second time for more information, and again it was denied...So to summarize :1. Dr Jimenez treated me like an idiot2. He ordered a test that was clearly not medically needed3. He did not share the results with my regular cardiologist, so if there was a negative result, he allowed me to walk around with a life-threatening arrhythmia untreated, unless I went to an appointment and paid for those resultsTomorrow, I plan to go directly to his office and demand the full results of my medically un necessary test and take them to another EP.4. My advice if you need an EP don’t go to Dr Jimenez

I can't say enough about this kind and amazing Dr. And his team at JFK.

El doctor es muy buen doctor ,sabe bien lo que hace y explica todo para que uno lo entienda,es un doctor que trata con amabilidad y cariño a sus pacientes .Mi esposo se atiende con el y la verdad le va muy bien
