I had 2 ablations with Dr fisher. For some reason l have not been able to have a discussion with him regarding a hybrid ablation since l am still having affib every 10 days lasting 24 hrs then back to normal.

Office communications is terrible. Dr Fischel is a brilliant EP doctor with no business acumen. My suggestion for him is to spend more time and money on quality office personnel and watch his commitments to the hospital so you can have effective patient follow up..

My husband went to see Dr. Fishel in an effort to mitigate some unexplained arrthymias he was having. Dr. Fishel found what several other EP's had missed, a concealed pathway. After studying the monitor and making adjustments to his Medtronic pacer, he fixed the problem. If you want the best, see Dr. Fishel.

Posted on behalf of Mitch Ginsburg:I have seen many great doctors over the decades. But if I had to single out one as being the very best, it's Dr. Robert Fishel. I originally went to him for a second opinion for an evaluation to have a Pacemaker implanted, as I was told my heartbeat was too slow. I've always been asymptomatic, or so I thought until Dr. Fishel took the time to explain things to me. He is easy to talk to and has an excellent bedside manner. He is personable; he cares and always makes me feel like I am the only patient he has to attend to. He shows genuine interest, and I have never felt rushed when seen by him.The office staff are just as impressive. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. You can genuinely tell everyone there is passionate about their responsibilities. I wouldn't change this Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology practice for anything, highly recommended! Furthermore, his operating room team was sensational.Dr. Fishel is the best doctor I have seen in 20 years. I am delighted that I selected Dr. Fishel to conduct my surgery. He had me spend the night in the hospital just to make sure that the device was working and that there were no problems from the surgery. My fatigue and lightheadedness have improved. It has been six weeks since my surgery, and my wife tells me I fall asleep less when watching TV, and I am back to doing all the things I love, like riding my bike and taking long walks. I recently brought my mother to Dr Fishel because he came highly recommended. I was extremely happy with his expertise in diagnosing & treating her Afib .The staff was extremely nice & my mother felt like she was in great hands. I highly recommend Florida Electrophysiology Associates!
