I went to Dr. Ackermann for heart palpitations. He was very patient and nice at my first visit, asked me questions and listened to me. He assured me I was gonna be fine after my appointment. I was super worried and his words put me at ease. After running a couple of tests, he wrote me an email and explained everything. He’s very knowledgeable and caring. He answered all my questions and concerns, and replied my emails very quickly within a day. I feel he genuinely cares about his patients. Thank you Dr. Ackermann and his entire team, the technicians for my echo and haltor, and the front desk staff. They’re all very friendly and helpful.

Review of Dr. Ackerman I received a blood test results in November 2020. I called the office and told the office that my heart enzymes were elevated and if that was a concern. I emailed and I faxed my results to the doctors office. I never heard back from the doctor’s office I had an appointment January 26, 2021. I had to go to the hospital on 1/24/21. The doctor told me I was OK I ended up in the hospital three days later with cardiomyopathy. I felt like Dr. Ackerman was completely Unprepared and his exam was not very thorough. While I was in the hospital, I was taken care of by his partner Dr. Pollock who in my opinion was more Competent; However, when I was released from the hospital the staff person that called me was extremely condescending and arrogant. I do not know why patients have to be treated as victims by doctors.I switched cardiologist and I’m very happy

Awesome. He’s been our family cardiology Dr. for more than 8 years. He’s an cardiology Dr. of integrity ,honesty ,caring ,kind and very professional he doesn’t rush through the appointment he listens to his patients and any area where A need to be adjusted in medication he Takes his time to explain why the changes. Dr. Ackerman makes the patient feel at ease and calm he’s very knowledge and polite and his professional. His staff is also very courtesy. The front Desk and nurse their professionalism is great, also the office is very nice and clean. I recommend this Dr.Alan Ackerman.

The most patient and caring Dr. I have encountered. I felt that Dr. Ackermann understood my issues, ordered the appropriate tests, and gave me the solution that I needed to improve and resolve my issue. I would highly recommend Dr. Ackermann for your Cardiovascular needs.

During this time of Covid-19, I was especially pleased to see how well prepared they were to ensure the safety of patients and employees. They immediately sanitized my hands and there was no other patients in the waiting room. I sat down and within 5 minutes I was taken to the examination room. Dr. Ackermann's assistant was fantastic. She took my vital signs and set me up for an EKG. She was professional, pleasant and efficient. She went over my medications, leaving all the information for Dr Ackermann to see. Dr. Ackermann is as fine a person as he is a doctor. He will take all the time necessary to take care of you. He is continually updating his knowledge of medications. He is the Ultimate Professional. He takes the time to actually LIsten to you. If after leaving his office, you realize you forgot to tell him something, you can easily contact him through MY Chart Messaging. I highly recommend him Dr. Ackermann to anyone seeking Professional, Competent and Friendly Healthcare.
