I have seen Dr. Pomeraniec for years. Not only is he a fantastic doctor, but his kind demeanor makes him an excellent therapist. He was able to manage my meds and made changes to my treatment that have changed my life. I highly recommend him. He is a sole practitioner who provides excellent access to the doctor.
I scheduled an appointment a month in advance. A day or two before the appointment, I called to confirm, left a voice message - no answer to the phone or to voice message. It seems like they have no office or assistant to help patients. I emailed twice, no answer, no reply back. Sent the documents for evaluation in advance, no response. It seems like the doctor only shows up to the appointment. If you want a more personalized service or to be able to communicate out of the appointment time, forget it.
Dr. Pom is the real deal. No fluff, no sugarcoating, but as someone else stated, compassionate all the while. If you wanna make a change, you gotta work for it primarily on your own, but Dr. P will keep pushing you there and give you as many tools as he can til you’re finally where you wanna be. Cheesy but true. Thanks Dr. P. You the man.
I would like to start off by saying that when I saw his doctor for the first time, I already was a bit skeptical about his practice. But when I dig more deep into the analysis of my appointments and conversations with him, I also realized that he had never sent me to any lab tests whatsoever, he has told me that I had a medical condition which was called bipolar disorder, and that I needed to take pills for the rest of my life he prescribed some medicine to me, it was obviously strong chemicals. I was taking it for months, and had to see him every other two weeks at $150 per session. After a period of about 3-4 months, And after a few times that he change the dosage and a variety of the drugs that he was prescribing to me, I had to change my insurance policy and upgrade and pay more money because the medicine was costing so much money, on top of that I felt worse and worse, I was completely tired, always sleepy, didn’t really want to do my work, my sexual drive was down, I was moody and angry. Finally after about 5 to 6 months of “ treatment” I had made a decision to stop seeing him and threw away all the pills into the garbage can, after a period of 1 1/2 to 2 months I felt tremendously uplifting, I had my life back, I just continued exercising at the gym, my sexual life with my significant other was improved. And I was back to “normal life”. whatever you do before you actually start taking medicine be extremely careful and pay attention to what this doctor says and how he uses his knowledge in psychiatric medicine in order to lure you into his trap. fortunately I have nothing good to say about him, I make a lot of reviews on Google and many of my reviews are five stars and I really appreciate people in this world that actually do care about other people, but this doctor is not one of them. I hate to admit it but I actually feel that it would be right for him to lose his license one day. God bless those of us that really need psychiatric help, please make sure you find a proper Doctor Who actually wants to help you and your Loved ones!!! Sincerely Maxim.
Dr. P has changed my life for the better! He is kind, patient, and compassionate. He really cares about your success and how he can help. He is extremely thorough and makes sure he understands every part of what’s going on in your brain. He does go through a lengthy treatment process and makes adjustment but only to help you and find that balance. Unfortunatly mental health is not one pill fix all. If you take your time and follow him you’ll see results. One year after being out of the hospital and I’m living my best life.
I look forward to my work with Dr. Pomeraniec. He is a very professional, compassionate and gifted psychiatrist.
Dr Pomeraniec is caring, kind, intelligent and insightful. He has treated my son and helped prescribe medications for his ADD. Too little space to write enough good things about this doctor. Most child psychiatrists are very clinical. Dr Pomeraniec really works building rapport with his patients to get to know them and fully discover what issues are of concern.
This Dr. gave me exactly what i needed --He was very responsive and helped me save my life - I give him two big thumbs up (and toes;-)
What a caring and knowledgeable Dr. Everyone should be so lucky to have him as their doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
