Lovely front desk personnel. However, the doctor was completely backed up. The person next to me had been waiting for over an hour. The doctor was friendly and helpful! And right on target concerning my medical problem.

Since my appointment was made, it has been to the point, the office personnel very pleasant, the hospital time precise.

I am a 60 yo woman who had gall bladder surgery performed by Dr. Kahane. The whole experience was a crash and burn. First they failed to contact me with a time to be at the hospital. I went by an email I received from Aventura Hospital, it was the wrong time and I ended up being held until the last procedure. When I was take to recovery as I was still groggy, I felt an intense burning sensation in my abdomen. I was informed that the Dr. Kahane didnt want to order any pain medication. I am fully cognizant of the law pertaining to pain medication. However, not giving a patient medication for pain after surgery is barbaric. After some time they gave me morphine but once it wore off again I was in pain. Then they gave me fentanyl and that helped. I was kept overnight due to the pain. My PCP called me and I explained what happened. She immediately called in a script. Very disappointing experience. FYI I have had multiple surgeries that were by far more serious.
