List of Laura Zalcberg's Reviews
The company's customer service is horrendous. They gave me a doctor's work excuse that is not legible and does not even say for how long I need to rest. They do not accept this note at work as it is not legible and clear. I called to get a proper legible note that can be read and Tesha Grant, MA was very unprofessional and did not help. Her tone was ironic and disrespectful.
In three days saw her once, totally disorganized, did not know what was going on, said she"had too many patients." Sent me home with the wrong Rx.!
She is very rude and does not care about her patients. She did not even look at my wound. Poor exam. Poor manner. Extremely rude.
Professional like no other, she's very knowledgeable, compassionate and dedicated, follow up with all my health issues and always alert to everything that need to be done for me to have an easy dealing with my health issues Best Doctor I encountered.
There's no enough space to write a review of Dr Laura Laura has even my angel during the last 3 years. She understands what your are going thru and help you according your need. You're blessed!
I met Dr. Zalcberg when I was given up for dead in 2007. Through her intervention and referral to specialists I am still here. She takes time with patients and I am amazed at the seemingly insignificant things that she remembers . She has had changes in office staff and I am afraid the current staff do her no justice.
She genuinely cares about her patients and takes her time with them during her appointments. However, her staff is horrendous. No follow up calls, always goes to voice mail, never return phone calls, they don't send records/tests to other doctors in a timely manner, always give patients the run-around and when confronted about it, they give you an attitude. I love Dr. Zalcsberg herself but she should really take a look at her staff as her reputation is the one being damaged by their behavior.
I think she genuinely cares about patients and she is a competent doctor. However her support staff is non existent, she has horrible time management skills and her follow up is horrible. You always have to wait two to three hours to see her. She doesn't return phone calls. Your files are in a stack and not in a computer. I had an EKG and chest x-ray in October and I never got the results.
I thought she was a good doctor. However she suddenly seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth for a month with no notification on her voicemail. This was during a time when I was having tests done at her request. I ended up having to change doctors because I didn't know what happened. My current doctor has tried many times to request my records from Doctor zalcberg and still has not received them after 3 months.
Zero stars would be too generous. The office at Lauderdale Lakes is impossible to reach. The recorded message states that the office is open from 8-5 on Monday through Friday with lunch from 12-2. However, when I tried to phone at 8, 9, 10, 11, 2, 3 and 4, the office was â??closedâ?? with no information on how to reach the physician other than leaving a message that went unanswered. Upon further research, I located the number listed on the University Hospital website. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, I explained to the receptionist that my mother, who is gravely ill, was unable to refill an essential prescription due to the way it had been written by Dr. Zalcberg during a hospitalization in November. Rather than listening to the situation, the receptionist said â??call your primaryâ?? and when I tried to explain in further detail she informed me that she needed to take emergency calls and hung up. I called back, waited again and was once again informed that it wasnâ??t their problem. As a result, I would recommend that if you find yourself at University Hospital, you are certain not to have this physician assigned to your case!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
